I couldn't speak more highly about the professionalism and care provided for Gracie our dog during her visit with Fiona and the team. All staff were friendly and thorough and the plan and follow up so far has been excellent.

Our little Schnoodle Chilli is a real bee magnet and each time she got stung, her reaction was a little worse. This came to a head when she was in our daughter's care in September 2021 - she stepped on a bee and had an anaphylactic reaction and almost died on the way to the Perth Vet Emergency. Thankfully, they were able to save her and suggested that we investigate bee venom desensitisation at the Selby Vet. We contacted the Veterinary Dermatology Specialists and she has been in the desensitisation program since November 2021. She is now getting one injection a month. In January this year, 4 days after her injection, she got stung by a bee just outside our house. I gave her an antihistamine and took her straight to our local vet. They took her in immediately, pulled out the sting and administered cortisone and some more antihistamine. Aside from a slight swelling in her paw, she had no other reaction. After about 3 hours, she had completely recovered and showed no signs of having been stung. I highly recommend this program to anyone that has a pet with an allergy to bee or wasp stings!

Big thank you to Dr Sam Crothers and her lovely team for all their support over the last few years with Ravens allergies. Sam and her team have always been there for us at the drop of a hat via phone or email to help us out and give advise. Raven has been on ASIT immunotherapy injections due to being allergic to being a horse (my joke) and is really doing well. Prior to meeting Sam and allergy testing nothing worked to keep his allergies at bay and Raven was very stressed and uncomfortable all the time no matter how many steroidal type drugs we tried. Im so grateful and so happy to see Raven comfortable and able to enjoy a normal life horsey life.

VDS have gone above and beyond too assess and care for our little man Cooper (choc Lab) with allergy symptoms. VDS always provide clear advice and follow up after all consultations.

Could not speak highly enough of the team at Veterinary Dermatology Specialists and in particular Dr Fiona Sholz who was so caring and patient with our puppy Bruce who has recently developed some skin and allergy issues. After many thorough explanations of what Bruce is going through on our first visit, we came out with a full treatment plan and know moving forward Bruce is going to be well looked after. Thank you!

Bindi and I have just started our journey with this team but we are more than happy with our choice of carers. Rowena has become besotted with Bindi and has been very thoughtful in following up with calls and emails to see how she is. Dr Sam has been very thorough on explanations and treatments. We begin our scratch test and then treatment next month. Bindi has had itchy paws (because of yeast infection) and itchy belly, it is distressing as an owner to see your pet suffer so it a relief to find a team that has that pet's wellbeing at the forefront of their care.

There is not enough stars ️️️ to give the Veterinary Dermatology Specialists. Each Doctor we dealt with were absolutely amazing. They were caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. We had no doubt when we left our pug Thelma in their care she was going to be looked after and would receive the very best treatment
