Love this store. Thankyou to Sean is always super helpful whenever I've asked him to help me find a record that needs to be ordered in, & when finding a record in the store. A smaller store, but a very good range none the less & are decently priced too. Well worth a visit to find some new vinyl.

I made a total rookie error in setting up my first turntable and he was very attentive, communicative and understanding, going above all expectations in helping me get it all sorted. I bought an Ortofon 2M black cartridge at a great price.

Andy (the owner) installed the cartridge for me free of charge, put the old cartridge in packaging for safe keeping and kindly installed a subplatter upgrade that I had purchased from another vendor (at no extra charge).

And their turntable range has steadily grown over the years to be one of the best in town. Support your local indie stores. They offer something more than the big chains ever can.

This is such a unique and eclectic mix for great greeting cards, clothes, gifts, vinyl records and record players.too many great things to name them all. It's my go to place for unique and individual everything.

I recently purchased the Pro-ject Audio Music Maker package in an endeavour to improve my home audio experience from my very basic existing kit. First item out of the box was an Impressive little unit, Rotel's A10 integrated amplifier which to my ears is far more competent than one might imagine given its size and price. Packaged along with this amazing unit is the dare I say entry level Pro-Ject turntable, the Prmary E which comes supplied with an Ortofon MM cartridge, of course at a later date this may be upgraded perhaps but for now I’m very impressed with the audio as presented. Final component of the package is a pair of Monitor Audio Monitor 50 speakers The look of the Monitor 50 is a little different from standard bookshelf speakers but I rather like it. The vivid orange colour of the mid/bass driver complements the grey front panel nicely and I have left the covers off simply because I really like the look. Put together very quickly and tested as a whole with a variety of records ranging from Kate Bush to Soundgarden this package quickly proved itself as a worthy purchase on my step up in my foray into hi-fi. Highly recommended for closer examination by all wanting a great home audio setup and I’m hoping Pro-ject Audio continue to produce the Music Maker set for some time to come. Great service and advice from the staff at Urban Records only served to sweeten the deal

I purchased The Music Maker - Pro-Ject Package Deal online from Urban Records, after doing a fair amount of research into a new turntable set up. I've had it for almost a week now and can easily say I have no second guesses in my decision to purchase this hi fi set up. It is amazing value for money and the build quality of each item is outstanding. When looking into what set up would best suit my desires, I was looking for a good quality bedroom set up that I could rely on for quite a while. This is undoubtedly the best sounding hi fi setup available in this price range. I love it! Thank you thank you thankyou!
