I work in community aged care and this company is amazing to deal with. Crystal and Stephanie helped me with an urgent issue and I would highly recommend Unicare to anyone who requires mobility equipment.

I had urgent need of a Tall Compression Stocking Frame. I’d had a revision of
a knee replacement that was 10+ years old when a plastic component failed
& broke. On top of that simultaneously I had oedema of the same leg that
required daily compression stockings. Preoperatively & Postoperatively, there
was no way I could apply the stocking, and my wife’s arthritic hands rendered
her unable to so do. So I had to pay carers for 2 months before the surgery to
come daily, remove the stocking so I could bathe, then reapply the stocking.
Postoperatively for 2 or 3 weeks I made do with the rehabilitation people
applying the stocking 2-3 times a week. I tried but I couldn’t do it myself
when still using the traditional frame. I did an internet search. I located the
exact item I needed for myself on an English website. I never knew of its
existence. They in turn guided me to Unicare in Perth who stock the item.
I ordered the frame, but Perth is at the other side of our great land. I was
impressed that the postage was free but that meant I was still days off
receiving the frame. I telephoned the company to see if I could pay for
express postage. The lady I spoke to said she was coming to Brisbane in
about 3 days, and I just happened to ask her if there was a chance she could
bring it and I would pick it up. She said “Yes” and did, and I picked it up this
morning. What good,

I have used Unicare in a commercial capacity for several years now and have never had anything but exceptional service from them. Paul Vogas is a "nothing is too much for us" rep and he is always ready to help out with any questions or equipment requirements we have. He goes above and beyond what I would expect from a sales rep. His outstanding service is what made us use them for the majority of our equipment requirements. In conjunction with my local OT and DVA I have been involved with Unicare throughout 2017, with setting up the appropriate equipment needs for a family member who we care for in home, so to achieve the most comfortable and safest environment possible. The initial delivery of equipment, was fantastic and left me in tears with the compassionate and supportive customer service from the office and the gentleman delivering and assisting me to set up our home. We live in a location that at times stretches many companies organisational skills, but this was just another challenge for Unicare to achieve, with the best results for the client and their family supporting them. We recently had an hospital admission and unfortunately required further equipment, again with the support of our local OT, DVA and the professional team at Unicare (and some after hours drop offs) with very short notice, they came through with flying colors. There is also comfort in times of high emotional levels that the person you are speaking to has the knowledge and understanding of what you really require, but still treating you with respect. In today's busy lifestyles and the demands we put on each other, it is lovely to see that there is still companies and the team within, that carry the old fashion values of customer service and go that little extra to achieve a very positive and professional experience for all concerned. Prior to my mother's Total Knee Replacement, mum had to be measured for crutches and Zimmer Frame. The varying types of each mobility aid, also allows for the individual's personal comfort. There's the option to buy or rent these aids. Also, they cater for eating/drinking difficulties with a variety of utensils. Check this out, there's products that I didn't know was available.
