U&I Cafe reviews
31Extremely small quantities especially in the night. Very disappointing management trying to take advantage of intoxicated individuals.
Was impressed when i had fried rice and nasi goreng both rice was stick together like a rock more than 1dollar size
every food was coming every 5min first order came and 5min later got the drinks than 10min later another drink came
and than we have to wait for the last dish to came out, but the food didn’t came so i have to go counter to explain it
to me the service was worst and the food quality was really frustrated the one staff said sorry to me about the late food
Got told to “hurry up” when using the rest room, was not aloud to stand up with a drink in my hand, staff was rude and couldn’t even apologise without laughing. Food was low key disgusting.
Worst of the worst experience!
If it wasn’t meeting up with a friend, we wouldn’t have eaten at this place!
1. We ordered the durian shaved ice, guess what? !? ! The durian blended mesh is not even a teaspoon, a few pitiful tiny slices of mango, a few lychees and pitiful amount of shaved ice! If the friend wasn’t a regular, I would have asked the boss about the portion for the amount of money? ! Is he joking? !
2. We also ordered broken rice, and it should be their signature dish for Vietnamnese. Guess what? !? ! The portion is extremely small with awful taste, out of all the side dishes, only the fried egg is good.
3. They charged service fee with card payment, they didn’t tell me until I realise they charged 0.16 on top. That’s so unprofessional!
AVOID AT ALL CIRCUMSTANCES! I can see they are looking at the profit rather than service and food quality!
I’ve never eaten such awful Vietnamnese food ever in my life! This is the most awful and disappointing experience! Definitely don’t recommend to other friends!
Fresh orange juice without ice wasn’t even top up! It’s ridiculous Servcie, waitress said there is an extra $2 if I wish to be topped up. $9.5 to buy a full cup juice without ice.
Definitely won’t return and not recommended at all. Top dollar for a poor service
Partner ordered a fried ice cream, halfway through she bit something hard and turns out it was a shard of glass from what looks like a drinking glass. Staff refused to accept blame and refused a refund initially. Low-key tried to pass the blame onto my partner as well. Very unprofessional handling of a situation that could've been solved quick
Very quick but I ordered a duck for 22$ For only getting bones.i had my beer in dessert and my real dessert was a very tough carrot cake.unfinished.never go back in there
Tasty Food, Great atmosphere, Great Vibes, Very friendly staff. However the 1 star is for the fact I got horribly food poisoned by their food, have been extremely sick all day after, lost a day of work, and nearly hospitalised, edit- it was proven to be E coli poisoning, it actually put me off work for a week and ended up costing me a heap more, This place is horrible and disgusting and doesn't even deserve the 1 star
Worst Place ever. I wanted something quick and filling. I had a stir fried noodle with chicken and a salted fish chicken and fried rice. The chicken tasted really sour and it seems the chicken were off or kept longer. I didn't appreciate it. I asked the staff about it she was really rude and asked me to wait the manager rudely. Then he took 50% off from the bill. But what the use i didn't eat anything in that. Really bad hospitality. I won't go to this place ever.
My partner and I have come here often, however last nights dining experience was very disappointing.
The whole experience from entree to dessert was disappointing.
We ordered several alcoholic beverages (vodka & orange, Blue lagoon) and there was no taste of vodka at all.
The main meal was definitely not what I’ve been served before as I always order the same soup.
The banana split dessert was pathetic.
Sorry, but I believe this place has and is slowly in decline on service, I guess that happens when a restaurant becomes tired.
Really nice Vietnamese ice coffee but man 2 sips and it's gone! I asked for less ice she filled the glass with ice! I asked her where the coffee was because the glass was only half full she said "coffee here glass half" yes I know it's only half a glass! Where is the rest? Anyway I got half a nice coffee will find some other Vietnamese Cafe to get a full one!
Seriously how does anyone think this is good. It's extremely average food that shouldn't cost more than $12 a plate. Would not recommend unless your drunk and just need to eat something
A good place to sober up at 6am in the morning after a long night hitting the beers. The duck dish was a little disappointing in quantity.
Instead of having a late night kabab, go here and have their crispy duck and egg noodle soup, add some chilli and tuck in. Perfect fix after a big night!
Be prepared for a shock when you go to the bathroom.worst then a nightclub toilet at the end of the night.
Could be very good as the food was great. Let down by poor customer service and main course arriving a minute or two after the entre. We ended up eating the main courses and finishing the entre as desert.
We will be back as I would like to see some improvement and ask for 15 minutes between courses, next time.
Wanted a quick meal, something light. We were attending a show shortly after. Started with a couple of cocktails, which were ordered together but somehow only one got delivered, had to reorder another again, then ordered our meals, crumbed prawns as a mains and Stay chicken skewers and a sizzling beef. Two little entrees arrived then the main arrived later even saying bring together, maybe a little language difficulty in understanding. Food was tasty but not exceptional, however the beef was outstanding. Outside nice setting, indoor s as little dated but comfortable
Always serving the best Vietnamese food, quick service. The service could be better. I am giving 4 star for the food, 24 hour operation, cleanliness and all other stuff except service. They just leave your food on the table and never bother to check on you. At least check once. I have been coming here for late dinner for quite a while. Before I never asked for receipt but my friend told me they overcharge her for few times. To my surprise I did get overcharged for 2 times in a row. Now I always ask for receipt. They did apologize and said it was system glitch. I wonder if I was overcharged before I started asking for receipt
Located in the middle of Northbridge. Vietnamese cusine.owned and run by vietnamese.one of the best com tam in the city.
A rare find in northbridge - Vietnamese pho and wonton noodles - very warm comfort food which is delicious and worth a try if you like Asian noodles.still a good choice if you prefer something warm in a cold night.
Chose to dine here for breakfast after getting sick of boring hotel breakfast. Nicely done and authentic Vietnamese. Had the rice paper rolls for starters, well proportioned and delicious. Then moved onto the duck and egg noodles with soup. Duck was nice although could have used a bit more meat and more bones than I liked, the egg noodles was fine as well as the broth soup. The thing that stopped me from giving it full marks was the price. Paper rolls were $7.50 and main was $18; crazy expensive when I’m comparing it to what I’m used to back home in Melbourne. The wait staff however was attentive and professional.
