Turner Caravan Park reviews
62Disappointed quoted one price after 5 phone calls and trying on line when we booked in had to pay extra because they hadn't charged for a powered sites. Dearer than what we pay in Broome
First time camping alone in this country also without my dogs had zero expectations just rushing thoughts and this place wowed me. I had a blissful afternoon not worried not stressed just me and an amazing view. I LOVED IT. Felt safe, lovely staff, walking distance to a restaurant and the beach. Running track is also just nearby for that early morning jog. Will make TURN again
Location was good but that's about the only good thing I can say about it.
Other campers' kids (around 7 of them) kept harrasing all of the people staying at the park (deliberately waking people throughout the night & entering other tents/campers to 'just look around'). Neither the parents or the staff seemed to care or did anything about it.
Almost all of the showers & toilets were locked/closed for season & the ones that were open were dirty with LONG lines
Excellent location very peaceful short walk to town definitely worth a visit plenty of shade.
Office staff very pleasant.
Travelling with a disability can be hard, not here, the staff were AMAZING. Made me feel welcome, and no bother at all. Service went above and beyond! Thanks for looking out for this grey nomad!
Only stayed one night but definitely I will be back for a longer stay. Lovely lady at the office (had an accent) and I enjoyed all what the caravan Park offered. Everything was clean & tidy & well look after. Thank you!
We enjoyed 5x night stay on a powered caravan site. Lovely park on the water. Girls in office were lovely & helpful. We had large combined grass, sand site, easy access. Amenities were clean. Great part of this park was the beautiful bird life (due to no pets rule for this park) we had green, red parrots, wrens, bronze pigeons, kookaburras, ducks.was such a delight to have them on doorstep each day. Fire bins available. Short walk to excellent cafe/restaurant overlooking water. Highly recommend.
What an absolute treat to have a getaway from our little country rental and stay in the beautifully designed chalet we have hired for 3 night. Instantly felt at peace and destressed away from our busy lives. Highly recommend, the chalets are clean and well taken care of. Love Augusta!
One can't fault the location it is simply beautiful along the coast here.
The amenities are rather small and dated however, showers work well.
My only disappointment with these guys was I had called 5 days prior to arriving as I was quoted a much cheaper rate and delayed my arrival till May 1 as advised due to going into low season.
My notes which I showed them showed the conversation and other parks I'd called etc.
They couldn't explain who had quoted me cheaper and wouldn't honor the fact they'd stuffed up.
This was disappointing as I could have stayed in other parks cheaper but I was told to check in and wait for the manager to arrive 30 minutes later.
By then I'd unhitched and set up so made no sense to pack up again so I had to wear the excess cost.
Unfortunately I didn't take down a name when I called but where it's their mistake take ownership and honor the rate rather than saying bad luck.
Staff in office very obliging. Bit expensive to stay. No staff to help a single women to back van onto site and help unhitch. Other private owned parks are always there to help.
Fantastic location, lovely caravan park. Clean ablutions and helpful staff. Great place to stay and Augusta is an awesome place to visit
Staying in our caravan at the park. It's located on the Blackwood river with ocean access just a bit further down the shore.
Very tranquil park, lots of shady trees. Although busy not noisy as out of school holidays.
Augusta is so quaint one of my favourite places.
Turners is a magical camping spot on the South West cost. The rays are an incredible experience. Can be a bit windy but the non windy days are gorgeous. We paddle boarded across the river onto the sand bars and the far bank. Glorious spot. Facilities are modern and clean.
My family always enjoys visiting Turner Caravan Park. The location is perfect for accessing the river and enjoying fishing and kayaking. If you are lucky enough to catch some fish and fillet them down by the river you can feed the sting rays and the pelicans.
The park itself has good sized powered sites and the showers were warm and clean.
Nice caravan park right next to the water. Good camp kitchen and the showers had good heat and pressure.
Turner was a great location for our first camp trip.
The facilities were nice and clean and well maintained. Location next to the river really was lovely.
I will be recommending the park to everyone.
Great place, right on the river, wife got crook so had to leave a day early, will be back.
Nice neat and tidy park. Facilities are like new. Actually are new. Also EV charging available at 15amps.
We really enjoyed our stay, lovely staff and terrific location with great facilities. Highly recommend.
Fantastic view and accommodation. Everything inside the chalet is of the best quality and new. Barbeque outstanding. 5 star accommodation
