Turicum Chalets

Have stayed here a few times. First time was over twenty years ago. It seems the owners back then (parents) and the owners now (daughter) know nothing about customer service as they are rude and unaccomadating to day the least. It is almost like you are an annoyance to them.
One stay for 7 days ran out of toilet paper and no new towels were provided for a week stay.
The cabins are OK never had a bug issue like this staying anywhere else in Denmark.
Lovely views and bushland is the only reason we kept going back.
Also as they always seemed to have availability. Much more to say but fear of running out of room.

I wonder why? There are plenty of other places to stay in Denmark if you book early and the owners are helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful bush and farm scenery, comfortable accommodation with gas heating and well equipped kitchen. Awful shower in Heidi hut. Stayed one night whilst riding Munda Biddi trail. Good service, allowed us to check in an hour early.

These rustic cabins are a nature lovers delight. Great for a family get together if you rent all the cabins out! We would return. Thank you for hosting us.

My partner and I recently stayed a night here, we enjoyed the studio very much. It was exactly like the pictures, simple yet so cosy, cute and with everything you need. The view from the balcony and the bed up in the loft were perfect, felt like you were as tall as the giant trees you look out to. We didn’t need to talk to owners at all through our stay as entry is simply via a key lockbox, which they text you the code that morning. We were given a wave and a friendly smile on our way in and out by them, along with the beautiful animals- geese, sheep and a heifer. I was very lucky to stumble across Turicum Chalets in my search for a place in rural Denmark, it was actually one of very few places with a one night minimum which is why I first found it! Our studio stay is 5 star worthy and we can’t wait to book here again in the future.

Cosy, cute chalets in a beautiful setting. Lovely fire and comfy beds.

We booked a rustic cabin with a log fire for a romantic getaway.

Very pretty property. The views were lovely. We never got to the meet the hosts and communication with them was poor or no response what so ever. The property is comfortable with the basics provided but ready for some much needed maintenance. We have a booked document saying that wood would be provided free in the cooler months. We got in at 6pm the temp outside 5 degrees no firewood provided we froze that night. We enquired the following day and got a response 3 hours later by SMS and were told we could drive a 20km roundtrip to purchase wood for 20 dollars a bag from a service station. Apparently they changed their site to say wood provided in Winter months and we went in spring. Disappointing experience and the type of service you would hope no longer exists when representing tourism for the beautiful state we live in.

Have stayed in winter and spring - wonderful farm and great little cabins. Very friendly hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay on this peaceful farm! I felt welcomed and loved having so many animals around. The kangaroos.and the sound of kookaburras in the morning! Had everything I needed and was the cosy peaceful getaway I had hoped for!

Lovely rural hidaway chalets, easy reach to Denmark and some of the best swimming and surfing areas on the south coast. (15 mins). Location of the Monkey Rock Winery. Access via about 2km unsealed road.
