Trotters Cafe

I love Trotters. The previous owner was fantastic and the new crew are just as delightful. I love popping in for a cheaky breakfast when I find myself at Bunnings early in the morning or brunch if I'm there a bit later.

Had the most amazing chicken avo and salad first time I have been there. The chef asked me if I would like to try a new dish It to was amazing Bacon egg chilli relish in an awesome roll hard to pick which one to eat and which one to take home Highly recommended 5 stars

Just off the plane from Phulet and we had a great meal at Trotters at Joondalup. The staff were super friendly and helpful to two strangers and our meals were excellent and the coffee welcome after a long flight.
We recommend Trotters to anyone looking for a Big Breakfast and a nice coffee.

Best brekkie burger I’ve had. Delicious milkshake too. And accommodated me only wanting egg white and no yolk. Thanks:)

We eat here often.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Ordered big breakfast, eggs bene with salmond, 3 egg omlette and coffees.
Did not wait long. Food was piping hot and delicious. Good size breakfast.

Update Aug 2023:
Sadly the pies and croissants have gone from some of the best in Perth to almost Mrs macs equivalent, such a shame.

I've frequented Trotters for 5 years. Excellent range, exceptional service, envy of the poor Coffee Club next door. My staple orders include the generous ham and cheese croissant, mammoth breakfast burrito, ANY of the pies, ANY of the cheesecakes. Lovely staff! Just go here.

I came in this morning for a big breakfast and it was delicious, a huge portion and the young lady behind the counter was really polite and helpful my friend and i both enjoyed the food

Super friendly staff and great coffee.
Didn't have time to eat but deffiantly keen to go back and try their menu.
Comfortable inside seating and great location with children's fenced off playground in view.

Amazing customer service. Good quality food, nice breeze sitting outside. The croissants and cinny scrolls are delicious! I definetely recommend coming here:)

Very polite staff and helpful. Enjoyed my coffee and beef and mustard panning.
They collect bottles for recycling for the Scouts. Love that they give back to the community.

We had a breakfast with family and quality of food and service is excellent. Also they have a special on weekends. Coffee is great. We will definitely come back. 10/10.

***UPDATE: I have corresponded with the owners of Trotters Cafe and they have given me a full refund for my meal and genuinely apologised. They held a staff meeting on 02/12/22 where they addressed all the issues and guaranteed that their staff are aware of the duties and the importance of a clean and tidy environment whilst dinning.

Would not recommend at all; if I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Very disappointed as I have been there before and it was great, and this time was horrendous; will most definitely not be returning.

Spent $60 and it was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time - came home and let’s just say me and the toilet are very well equated now. The pulled pork loaded fries: greasy, stringy cheese, no flavour in the pork and the small bit of gravy they attempted to add to help with the flavour just made the chips soggy - not at all appealing to the eye either.

The nachos - their “very OWN” chilli con carne, again, disgusting. It was black, the mince was burnt, the kidney beans were hard and the flavour… vile. The nacho chips were rock hard and somehow oily at the same time.

Now, for the worst part; as I went to grab the salt there were bugs on the cutlery! (I took photos) and the other cutlery wasn’t cleaned properly, had hard bits of food still on them…. Disgusting!

When we walked in, the tables around us (4 of them, and we sat at the one “clean” one) still had plates of food and dirty cups on them when we arrived, and they remained there until we left. No one came to clean up the tables, or get the dishes, it just looked like a messy kitchen in there…

No staff came around to clean tables, say a friendly hello or ask how the food was, the whole time we were there, and we were there for a good hour, I saw one staff member and that was the lady that took our order and delivered our food to our table.

For a place that says “I truly believe in only serving quality, fresh and honest food and that's what you'll get at Trotters Cafe” on their website, they should be ashamed. Absolutely disgusting, vile and a waste of $60. Stay away, or risk becoming good friends with your toilet bowl

Walked in today & smelt the filthy old oil in the deep fryers burning away. Turned straight around and went next-door to the coffee club.

Welcoming staff, excellent food and lovely atmosphere, what else you need. Also try coffee which is excellent as well.

Customer service was excellent, lovely young girl working at the till she had a big smile and was very welcoming, the food was delicious, and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming I will be returning here

Amazing Breakfast and excellent service. Big portions and perfectly poached egg. Will be back again. Ambience is great and plus point is kids play ground.

Big breakfast was mediocre at best and the pancakes were more like crumpets

Coffee and tea were quite good

Just had the chicken parmi burger and it was great! Also, the chips here are possibly the best chips I've ever had!
