It was a really nice place for enjoying italian food. Really nice food, wine and atmosphere

We went to play pool on a Friday night and because they didn’t serve food we decide to walk to a restaurant. Right across the rod is this gem of a restaurant.
Firstly we didn’t have a reservation which I highly suggest you get one.
They squeezed us into a small table.
The menu is a typical Italian menu and fair prices.
We had some Arancini Balls as an entree and they were delicious.
I had the Pappardelle con Polpette (Pasta and meat balls) and my wife had the Pappardelle Broccoli E Pancatta Affumicata (Pasta and Broccolini in a white wine sauce)
The service was really good, staff are efficient and friendly.
Our meals came out quickly, and timely.
The food for both meals were of a high standard
High quality home made pasta.
Great flavours.
I took home a ‘doggy bag’ due the size.
I cannot recommend Trattoria llaria highly enough. We enjoy good Italian food and this place is one of the best we have been to.
We will return but will make a reservation next time!

We did not ask for the bill and still chatting and they placed the bill on the table without a word as if they wanted us to leave. We spent nearly 200$ on food and this is not the right way to treat us. Definitely not coming back.

Beautiful corner restaurant on Angove st. The decor, food and atmosphere, all are great. Im a forever customer.

Some of the best Itialian I've had in a long time. We had a house special of Morten Bay bugs with prawns on spaghetti. Very professional staff who obviously like their jobs.

Ordered black angus rib eye as medium rare. Turned out half of the rib eye was uncooked - still raw, and the other half was overcooked. Showed this to the waiter which he responded he would tell the chef.

They also have changed the calamari fritti. It used to be curled up calamari and tasted very good quality produce and well seasoned. Now the new calamari fritti quality has gone downhill. It came as square bite size pieces like packet sold from Supermarket, and it was oily and really salty. Asked about the calamari to the waitress, and she agreed that it is not the same. She said the supplier has changed product and cannot source the same calamari as used to?

On the good side, pasta dishes were nice.

This is a nice local trattoria. Service was attentive and professional. The food was fine. The toilet is way out the back off a carpark (undercover).

Lovely Italian restaurant in North Perth. Reservations necessary as its a busy place even on a Tuesday night. Great menu and specials menu, very big portions. Good drinks menu including mocktails. Definitely going back.
Only complaint I found it very warm inside buy hey that's its only fault. Staff were very friendly.

Celebrated my birthday with family & friends at Trattora Ilaria last Thursday night. Was a great night with delicious food. Our portions were large, very tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly, even helping out with my birthday cake for no extra charge. Well worth a visit for authentic Italian hospitality.

Service was lovely, quick and friendly, ambiance was pleasant and food was excellent and very authentic. Some dishes were a bit over-seasoned but overall very flavourful and prepared to perfection.

Nice, but a little over-the-il.
Dos:
- Old school garlic bread was such a win
- Generous house pours, crikey
- Parents loved it (!)
Don'ts:
- Pasta was super thick for our taste

Went there on a Monday night. Good honest Italian food. Generous serves and very attentive staff. Wine and beer prices reasonable. Would go again.

We had a stopover in Perth and came to Trattoria Ilaria for dinner. The atmosphere, food and service were second to none!

We felt welcome from the second we called to make a reservation (on a public holiday) and enjoyed Bruschetta, Pasta and Caprese Cake for dessert.

The young man waiting on our table made our experience so enjoyable and he was incredibly attentive. The maître de was friendly, welcoming and even found room for our luggage!

We would highly recommend Trattoria Ilaria!

Really nice vibe, great service and food, if you like pasta, ask for the pappadelli everytime the barramundi was great!

What a lovely place to dine on a Monday evening!
Went for dinner with my 4mo puppy, so we ate outside. We were sat next to the heater, didn't need to wear my big jacket to eat as I expected.
The 2 Italians waitresses were very attentive and always smiling; they didn't forget the only outside table (taking into consideration inside the restaurant was quite busy and at least 3 birthday celebrations) but they didn't only look after me, they also looked after my puppy with some water and pats (which he LOVES!)
The food was DELICIOUS and the portions were VERY generous.
Overall, it was definitely a nice experience and I'll most definitely will be back again soon.

Amazing service from the staff from seating to dining, definitely one of the best steaks I've had dining out and such a friendly and calming environment. Made for such a lovely evening out ️

Took my partner out for our anniversary and wow this place did not disappoint the food was absolutely to die for the customer service was amazing and the selection of mains was even better 10/10 would recommend going if you looking for some amazing authentic Italian foods
