We have been dealing with Trades Insurance for quite a long time and have found them to be very professional and always available to answer any queries we have. Would highly recommend them.

We have been using Trades Insurance for about 20 years now & have always found them easy to deal with. We have a number of policies with them & have never had an issue with any claim we have made. They are always very helpful with any queries we have had. I would definitely recommend them for your insurance needs.

The salesman who I spoke to had a bad attitude when I kept asking questions and he answered them very vaguely. I also suggest asking a persons name when you have a conversation, it’s basic communication - Craig

Couldnt recommend these guys enough made a recent claim stress free. Our previous brokers made it so hard when we tried to claim for stolen tools that we decided not to bother. I'd Highly recommended trades insurance to anyone personal service and so helpful. Erin was great to deal with.

Trades insurance, Sharon, went above and beyond making sure I knew what paperwork I was to send over as well as making sure I understood the process of making a claim. Brilliant customer service.

The Team at Trades Insurance were friendly and happy to help and answer any and all questions, they did a lot of phoning around at short notice and sorted out my policy's within my required time frame. However as my business expanded and required additional covers, unfortunately the fees ballooned out requiring to source a policy though a different provider though a different scheme.

Please note if you cancel a policy early you dont get a pro rata amount against the invoice you paid, but from the policy that they took out for you, so you get a reduced refund.

In addition to this, if you elect to pay by the month you actually sign up for a loan, this is great for starting businesses like myself, however if you cancel the loan early you pay the full loan amount out (Effectively charged all interest and fees for the entire loan amount and duration even if you cancel a policy after 4 months).

This has resulted in me being charged over $1000 to cancel a policy, compared to a standard policy directly with the insurer.

I would honestly place another insurance policy with Trades Insurance, if the price was reasonable (for the individual situation), but however have the policy paid in full upfront to minimize any unnecessary fees.
