We found Total 4x4 online, wanting airbags and a bullbar for our Y62 Patrol. Mitch was excellent to deal with and very accomodating of our short timeframe demands. He did what he said he would do and the price points were very reasonable. Highly recommend them.

I ordered a bullbar through these people on 28/6/21 and paid a $980 deposit. At the time I was advised a lead time of 8 weeks. After almost 15 weeks, many many calls I had to make to them and finally jumping up & down on the 7/10/21 when they said my bar was not available yet again, I finally had my bullbat fitted. Not once did these people contact me to advise me the status of my order despite it being almost 7 weeks overdue. They even lied to me about contacting me on the 7th about fitment. I originally used this business some 30 years ago but I will never ever use or recommend them to anyone again. They have no customer service, are surly when challenged and offered not even an apology for the hassles and delay on my $3k purchase. Absolutely appalled by how I was treated. To be called a liar by a sales person finished me off.

Thank you for doing the upgrade on my 4WD, but I must apologise - you were telling me about the SOLO Diesel protection and I thought you were making fun of me - but guess what my husband filled my 4WD with petrol and it cost me $760 and unhappy Jan! I cannot believe he did it and now I truly wish I had purchased that $100 Solo Diesel Protection - it would have been much cheaper. So my husband is coming to get one. He is very embarassed. Thank you. PS he is going to pay for it.

Have recently tried to have some additions and modifications installed to my 4x4 prior to a serious across Australia central desert journey.

They worked around my time frame and can not fault their workmanship and installation process.

Booked in for suspension upgrade on 21 May for today. Arrived at the shop at 7am, Mitch could not find my booking. Showed him the booking confirmation, he said will sort it out.
Got a call at 2.30pm, saying they need my ute for another day, which I can’t do because I need it for work the next day. Then asked me to bring it back another day. This meant nothing has been done since this morning!
Got my deposit refund and my ute back, will never trust these people again!
I had to take a day off for the fitting, should have let me know at 7am if they can’t do it because of their stuff up, at least I can do something else for the day!

Had a Cheap Bull Bar fitted to my hilux years ago and the bracket just snapped and the whole thing nearly fell off. I manage to buy a 2nd had Smart Bar with half the brackets missing so it was going to be difficult to find someone willing to try do the change over for me.
I called Brett at Total 4x4 he was like " sure we should be able to sort that out "
Dropped it off and Brett and.yep.his crew did sort it out.
Thanks for taking on the difficult task for us. Great to Know the Beautiful Plumbing Tow Vehicle is safe to drive on the open road again.

Terrible. They gave me advice on the extra components I had to purchase then after waiting nearly 7 weeks for the part to arrive decided they couldn't do the job because the original mechanic had left the business. Totally unprofessional as the sales give advice without knowing what they are doing then blame mechanic that has left saying he was incompetent.

Really great customer service. Initially we had a slight hiccup with a part installed, however the way Brett and his team sorted things out and looked after us was great to see. We are very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Total 4x4 to anybody. Cheers Jude and Polly

Outstanding customer service and fair price i had a winch bar skid plate and lift kit fitted to my hilux and done in amazing condition and in only two days the boys there were really helpful and really went outta there way to make sure everything was done right and to my taste and that i was comfortable with everything by checking up with me every step of the way i would recommend them to anyone wanting any work to their 4x4 overwhelmed with how mine turned out couldnt be happier!

Got a 2inch west coast suspension fitted for my Ml triton, these blokes did a great job answered all my questions and helped the best they could, friendly, quick and efficient also beat the price of all the other businesses couldn’t be more happy:)

Very impressed with the after sales service. The staff went out of their way to fix an issue I had with Front radar failure after a smart bar was fitted. They basically dropped other jobs to fit me in immediately. This is what service should be like. Take note other 4wd shops! Thanks again guys. 100 stars

I had my triton in to get a Snorkel kit and my ARB foggys installed. The boys at Total 4x4 did an excellent job. Very professional and a great price!
