Very nicely appointed apartment with views out to the ocean and surrounding countryside. About 20 minutes out of Albany but still close to all attractions. It was nice to see the Kangaroos and Rabbits grazing out front in the paddock. The complimentary bottle of wine, cheese and crackers on arrival was also a very nice touch. Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss but not really a problem when you have such a nice location close to the beach to stay at.
Over the moon with our stay at Cosy Corner Sea View Apartments. Kylie and Zoe couldn't have been more helpful and we are very grateful they could fit us in at such short notice.
20 minute drive from Albany town Centre. The main bedroom with spa bath was the highlight for us, stunning scenery, breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. Most luxurious accommodation we have stayed in to date. Perfect for a few nights away relaxing and being surrounded by the beauty of the Great Southern. Complimentary cheese and wine was also a lovely surprise.
Nice quiet place for our little family to get away from city life. The drive in my kids were excited to see so many animals and the gorgeous greenery surrounding the accomodation.
The house was perfect for us four comfy beds, plenty of toilets and bathrooms and comfy couches.
The view from the apartments is spectacular. Clean white sheets were great, but that’s where it ends. Complementary mouldy cheese on arrival, rusty knives and all kitchen equipment could do with an update. We requested a porta cot and we’re told the operators were not aware of this because of third party booking, where I left it as a note and also put in two children under 2. They did not rectify this on the first night of our stay, instead bringing it the second day. It was completely unsafe for a small child to be upstairs without a cot. This was very stressful and spoiled our experience. Our toddler also found prescription medication that was two years old in some draws in the bedroom.
Comparatively to the price we paid to stay here, it fell short of our expectations. The location is certainly private and picturesque, although the 20 minute drive back and forth to town for meals did grow tiresome - but we knew this was the case before booking. The apartment, and rooms were a nice size and bedding was comfortable. Our main complaint was simply the lack of attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and provided facilities.
Hair shavings in the basin, cobwebs throughout the entire balcony balustrading, a half drunk bottle of wine in the corner of the balcony, a thick layer of dust on the outside furniture, cobwebs surrounding the front door, to name just a few of the issues. Additionally the provided facilities in the kitchen were certainly below par; a single crusty old frying pan, plastic utensils with melted and gnarled edges, a lack of power points to feed the toaster, microwave, and coffee machine (including a malfunctioning milk frother/warmer) meant a constant kitchen top reshuffle.
The cheeky note on the kitchen rubbish bin to inform us of a $25 fee if we did not take the trash to the rubbish disposal area before departure, certainly did not reflect a premium quality accommodation that the price would have suggested. Maybe you can send me the $25 as I cleaned up a lot of the mess left by the previous tenant for you?
The property has potential, but the above is letting it show its age prematurely. It make it really hard to justify keeping our tourist dollars in WA if this is the standard of our return on investment.
There are so many things that are so good about this accommodation It's peaceful clean and has everything you need it's only a short drive to Albany and Denmark. I lv having the door open at night to listen to the wild life especially after a shower of rain And there's a good old fashion farm house at the end of the drive way we're you can have a magnificent brekky. I lv the TV how you can just log into your favourite sight like Netflix and so on the kitchen is user-friendly excellent. The bedroom with spur and on ensuite is very nice. There's 2 balcony's with views of the ocean in the distance. The bed is so comfortable you fall asleep without knowing it. I've actually booked in again next month fantastic
If you want peace and quiet, minutes from the beach and staying in luxury? Nothing in Albany tops this place
Beautiful views! Extremely relaxing. Great vineyards a short drive away. We went with Dave from Denmark Wine Lovers- highly recommend. Lots of bush walks through the surrounding national park. Great beach fishing. Lots to do, but you can always just sit back and enjoy the view. The appartments are well maintained with fresh filtered rainwater- tastes clean and fresh when compared with Perth tap water. Easy check in, they just email you the key box code and you’re good to go! The welcome pack of cheese and wine was an added bonus! Oh, and we loved the spa with the second floor views of the sea. Highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back again!
Very clean units with all the neccesities. Close walk or drive to the Cosy Corner Beach/ West Cape Howe National Park ($15/day fee) and Bibbulman Track. 20-25 minutes to Albany or Denmark and not much available closer as far as groceries or other supplies are concerned. So it is wise to come with what you need. There is a basic shop at the petrol station in Elleker about 12km away and a café about 100m away that also sells some local produce and a few other things if you run out. There is no a/c but there is usually a nice breeze from the ocean. The Sunshine unit is well appointed with a view of the ocean amid the trees.
Absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommend a stay here. Clean and tranquil and full of nature
A wonderful surprise apon arrival a nice bottle of wine and beautiful cheese and crackers to welcome us.
A very tranquil and scenic accommodation setting. Quite understandable why many guests visit this accommodation repeatedly
