Top Dog in TOwn reviews
32I cannot count how many times I’ve come to top dog between the hours of 6.30pm to 7.30pm on open days and it’s been shut, but it’s more than ide like to admit. Such a long drive wasted, every. Single. Time.
Delicious. Aussie and Hawaiian Hotdogs. Worth the drive and the wait.
Fresh lightly toasted rolls. Fillings superb.
Wanted to try the hotdogs here but were unaware of if the buns they use contain dairy. Lady seemed like I was a nuisance for asking for the ingredients of the bun. She was like we’d have to ring the bakery and blah blah blah. Allergies and intolerances need to be taken seriously. The info should be available if asked for. Easy to say left empty handed. Better safe than sorry.
Cool bar with a low key mellow vibe with great gin and whisky cocktails. Perfect place for a first date impression.
Very poor customer service, two employees working behind the counter and they still sent us to go and order from the bar after waiting 15mins. Waited another 15mins for service from the bar and they tell us that we're supposed to be ordering from the other counter which we originally came from. No employees sympathetic or cared really of our situation even though none of them seemed to be very busy.
Very poor service - both counter staff (hot dog stall and the bar) each handballing customers to order from the other. Bar server took out her exasperation at us when told the cooks told us to order from the bar. Said she had to count to 3 to calm down and then immediately served a lady who was behind us instead. Bar was not busy during our wait as she had just completed one drink order (slowly) while we were waiting and then there was us (2) and the lady who arrived after us and got served. Much busier places around with better service.
Always quality, recommended the brekky dog, parmy dog and lord of the rings dog. Chips are very nice and crunchy too!
Edit: new owners not as good, change opening hours and also didn't honour previous punch card that was over half completed.
Top dog is a Wangara legend these hotdogs are the best hotdogs you will eat in Perth garunteed. Starting out as a food truck and now running half the Wanneroo Markets Foodcourt with and ajoining bar its fantastic too see.
I will say tho the last time I had TD when there where just a stall in the markets the dogs where a bit better I know things cant always stay the same but yeah there is a difference and would love to see that come back. Still gonna give you 5 stars cant downrate you for an indescribable quality.
Great to see your business get to where it is!
Food is very average plenty of other places to eat at the markets. Overpriced and underwhelming.
Went here to have a lovely family Sunday lunch and ordered "Cheesy Bacon Loaded Fries" for the children and with no disclaimer on the fries that they use Jalapeno nacho cheese sauce. We only found out when it burnt the children's mouths and when asked for situation to be rectified was told they don't have normal cheese sauce I place food on the counter and said it's way to hot the kids can't tolerate it they said "ok and smiled and watched me walk away after wasting my money and didn't offer any type of refund. They didn't seem to care as they already had our money
Always quality, recommended the brekky dog, parmy dog and lord of the rings dog. Chips are very nice and crunchy too!
Not only best in town @ their game but also great to see them as supporters of the local community. Shout out West Coast Wolverines gridiron club!
I recommend the "German Shepherd" hot dog. After trying one it was exactly what I was wanting, that good I could of eaten two of them 10/10!
The reward card is a great bonus, free hot dog after you eat 10!
Condiment to hotdog ratio was good.service was good. I had the Aussie dog hot dog was good just missing cheese I think. Hot chips were nice and crispy and would have been better if meat portion of hotdog was in one piece rather than 3 portions.
Great food, friendly staff. Highly recommend ordering the chilli dog! Will definitely be coming back
Stopped in for a cheeky pint after a meal. Cheap beers & friendly service. $9 pints of the usuals to $11 pints of craft.
I really wanted to like this place but was sadly disappointed. After reading good reviews, I decided to try the German dog. The bratwurst was not even grill charred/brown as a good bratwurst should be! It was mainly white and may aswell have been just microwaved.there was too much breading, condiments and topping for the meat ratio. Perhaps I had a bad day but for $12 was definately not the best dog in town as their packaging claims.did not finish the hotdog. I would rather spend $2.50 for a bunnings dog next time.
Food is quite good, very very rude kitchen worker in the mornings.i have ordered food there months ago and though he was quite rude and maybe though he was having a bad day or something.have met him twice since then and nope.seems like he doesnt want to be there.no smile or nothing and talks to customers like a robot. I dont have much to say about other workers there because i havent met them yet.i will be back to try again hoping for better service
Great sports bar excellent screens dartboards pool tables friendly staff excellent place to enjoy a drink play games or watch sports.
Had dinner there tonight and the food (share platter) was absolutely amazing. The gin was one of the best I've tasted. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be back.
