Adam & Alli are very experienced roadhouse operators. Exceptional hosts.

I stayed in a budget room for several days while working in the area and had a wonderful home cooked meal in my room fridge each night along with lunch & snacks - the costs were very reasonable and made a difficult job much easier.

The sunrises & sunsets are magnificent.

This is big sky country, bring a telescope or binoculars for fantastic stargazing.

A very welcome stop after a long journey on corrugated gravel roads.

Don't attempt this journey in anything smaller than a Hilux 4WD. You'll need the suspension travel. A traveller I met here in a Subaru 4WD wishes he had a taller vehicle.

I cannot say alot, as it's my husband that delivers every day items and food to the remote Aboriginal Communities every 2 weeks. On the rare occasions I travel with him, I'm either sleeping or just comfy in the truck so I don't get out often at the communities. The one thing I can say and guarantee is DUST! LOTS and LOTS of dust. I would not advise travelling the roads out in the desert in anything smaller than a 4WD in dry weather as roads are rough, and even a 4WD should not tempt fate in wet weather. It's an interesting trip if you want to go that way to Alice Springs.

Allie and Al were very friendly and helpful with local sites. Although they do make the “best burgers” in the world, they do have other great food (fresh fruit and vege also) available. Thank you

Great Place to get Fuel. Bit of a effort to get served after hours and a cash payment for opening sounds harsh but worth it to get Fuel. Owner Operator bit of a Larkin too.

They have fuel. Other than that the owners seem unfriendly, like they are angry or something we couldn't work it out but on both occasions it was the same. Unhelpful and unfriendly on the verge or rude it's disappointing. If they are over the road house life the they should sell it to some people that will run it like Warakuna which is an awesome experience for road trippers

Pretty basic but served a purpose as an overnight stop on a bike trip in 2019.
Only rooms with communal bathroom, but they were clean enough.
Food was basic but reasonable quality, for a remote outpost.
Nothing comes cheap on the Central Road - how much advantage is being taken of the isolated location and lack of competition I’ll never know - but it is what it is.
Put it down to the experience.
There are better roadhouses elsewhere, but they can be dearer again.
And there are plenty worse than this.
The staff and management were friendly towards me, both at check in and at dinner - no complaints.

It’s not only the fact they charge $2.25 per litre of diesel but worst a lot less kms to a tank (?).
Lucky we filled $40 extra of what we needed to get to Laverton.
You never gonna come back to complaining and they know it.
$10 for an onion and a capsicum, not very decent, that’s the type of people.

Hopefully you don't encounter the most unfriendly, arrogant idiot as I did is all I can say about it.

Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness and excellent service by lone operator. Noted we were only 2nd visitor to sign the COVID register all day.
Apparently natives don't need to sign in!

The road house is a nice place to stay overnight, all the facilities are clean and tidy. We stayed at the unpowered campsite and it was perfect.
Such a great dinner with Norman and the mining crew that is living there.

No free wireless, provided by third party. No mobile coverage here either. Staff friendly, thank you

Fuels expensive but where else you gonna get it! Just fill her up and shut up! Great food and cool drinks.

The 5 stars are for the lamb shank dinner and providing a bed after a day on the great central road.

Clean basic room, good food. Very expensive but no alternative, the only place to stay unless you have the fuel and fresh drivers to keep going

Best bang for buck roadhouse across the great central road! Friendly staff, great amenities and a basic room is more than half the price of roadhouses either side!

Manager let us in as we had arrived late but very grumpy, kitchen got very busy in the morning, but wow great food, , thankyou for making our journey a great one, would free camp if I travelled it again.

$50 for an unpowered campsite if you're 1 min after closing (5pm wd, 3pm we). If you don't need Mrs Grumpy's shower, power and noisy generator, stay for free at Paradise camp 90km east and enjoy the sunset. (Warakurna RH only charges the $20 after hours fee for fuel and stores-fair enough).

Call out fee $20 between 5-7pm it’s abusive, also the lady wasn’t friendly at all, didn’t explain facilities location just open the gate and self yourself, really disappointed. I don’t recommended this place to anyone. One star is too much.

We arrived late night around 9pm n we could contact the owner. So ended sleeping under yhe frontnporch. We were a family of 3 adults n on a Britz driving the Great Road from Perth to Ayers rock

Nice little outback stop. Lovely people, nice quiet camp grounds. Felt very safe being behind the fence. Lovely shop with basic supplies.
