THORNLIE NAILS

My friend and I had a good time at Thornlie Nails. We didn’t know what we wanted but the staffs were friendly and were able to give us some good advices.
We ended up getting complimentary 3D decor as well.

Went in here on the off chance while I was waiting for my washing at the laundromat. I don't usually get my nails done (this being the third time in over 12 years). The ladies here are very friendly, non-judgemental, and immensely patient (even with my newbie ditziness). The lady who did my nails was so kind and understanding and she did an excellent job of my nails! The very few salons I've been to in the past have shown little care and have either injured my fingers or damaged my natural nails. This wonderful lady was very gentle and took great care! My nails look great! She was even more delicate with my injured finger! Her daughter was also very kind and friendly The overall experience was exceptionally pleasant!

Had refills and pedicure, ladies did an amazing job. Attention to detail was 100% very happy!

Really lovely ladies. They actually listened to what I wanted rather treating me like a cash commodity.

Took my shellac off my toes and put new shellac on. No spa pedicure nothing. Still cost me $40 and wasn’t the best job. Ladies came across a little rude and when I said $40 she said you pay n go - really not very professional

Absolutely horrible a staff member was rude and aggressive towards me pulling n pushing my hands the lady filed my skin to the point skin broke the acrylic on my nails aren’t even they look like I brought stick ons from the dollar store this my 2nd time going here and honestly the 2nd time was the worst experience I’m definitely not going back

If you want to receive the service you paid for, don't go to Thonlie nails. I have tried them several times and the results is always the same, even with the business having a new owner. So many people spoke my mind on these reviews, so I won't say much. All i can say is never again.

Everyone there is very nice. When it starts getting busy, they begin to rush your service in order to serve the newcomers. There wasn't much staff so I don't blame them. They don't follow photos very well. The photo I showed them and my nails don't look very similar. The orange in the shop is quite gross but overall it was okay.

Great customer service, the people are nice. My nails turned out pretty well although there could be some adjustments but overall i enjoyed my time here

I went to have a manicure with shellac. This was the 2nd time I had been there. On this occasion, my nails looked great for a couple of days. Then the shellac started peeling off. Not long after that, my nails started breaking. Disappointing!

Went in for a pedicure. The attendant was really lovely but unfortunately the service did not match. Left with my feet in the same condition as when I walked in minus the $35 it cost for the service. Wish I got more out of it and a thorough job was done but unfortunately not.

Almost as soon as I left this place, my nails were wonky, warped and caused me physical pain whenever I looked at them.

I was extremely disappointed because everything started off well and smooth but quickly went down hill when it became clear they are willing to compromise the quality of their service in order to work on other clients simultaneously and get as many people in as they can. At one stage, one of the ladies was working on three different people and my nails were clearly rushed.

I’ll be shocked if these nails last a week. I will not be coming here again nor will i be recommending this place to anyone. The whole ordeal has almost put me off the idea of getting nails done entirely.

No autoclave. Equipment not clean. Badly applied polish which isn't a surprise as she was looking in the opposite direction most of the time.

Great service and fantastic deal! $50 deluxe manicure and pedicure. Will definitely be coming back

My friend and I always want to go to Thornlie nails. The girls are very polite and do an excellent job on your nails. They never rush you and always make you feel like you are very important. Thanks you girls. We love you and your work. Ros Maxfield

If I could give 0 stars I would I went today for a full set of acrylics and the place was in disgraceful condition extremely dirty the utensils they tried to use on me where dirty when I came to putting the acrylic on they didn't do my cuticles and stopped the acrylic half way down my nails, the tips where too small and the acrylic was incredibly uneven i ended up getting them to soak them all off and I went to a different nail place. I definitely won't be going there again

Please be careful, I had a deluxe manicure/pedicure very recently and ended up
with an infected toe nail requiring antibiotics

Worst nail salon I’ve been too. Mani pedi and they were rushing the whole thing. My nails were not cleaned properly. The lady doing my nails were next to me- NOT infront of me with her feet up in her chair. The lady doing my toes WAS ON THE FLOOR LITERALLY. Do yourself a favour and do not go in here. Such a waste of time.
