Compared to other ones I been to this is much better. Don’t compare with the new ones built though.
The view of the canning river is nice the river at the moment is so full. Beautiful picnic spot
It's a hidden gem run by Gosnells City Council. I went there with a group to do Nordic Pole Walking (organised through Addie Mills Centre). The place is spacious with room for functions, fitness and more.
Thornlie Community Centre is great for recreational indoor sports and small function bookings. Easy to get to, however it loses a star as the public transport is infrequent and stops after 5: 30.
Small mutipurpose hall only able to cater for 3 badminton courts. No natural ventilation unless you open one of the 2 fire doors. Floor clean and recently polished. High ceilings. Pantry with a fridge in the corner.
Community centre has the basics for meetings for clubs and indoor sports.
Limited kitchen facilities.
Building has termites.
