Thirsty Camel reviews
12Refused cash payment.will only accept EFT.as far as I'm aware legal cash tender cannot be refused.
You have Dan Murphs and BWS just a few minutes away. You have to get out your car for Cigarettes which are $6 more than the Deli down the road and then to see that they charged $69.99 for my alcohol and its $54.95 in other shops and they never told me the price. Daylight robbery!
Rostered on manager has a chip on his shoulder. Starts closing up 5 minutes before closing time. Put up the barricade so no more cars could drive through even though it was still open. Refused to serve me even though the rest of the staff were happy to serve me. Send in a friend's wife and he was happy to serve her. Poor attitude
Warning: Card only!
I only had cash on my first trip to this fine establishment, the very attractive staff explained that it was future tender only which as an educated individual I accepted this business choice without throwing a tantrum.
On my return visit they were so happy to serve me with a smile that I tipped them a 6 pack (while not standard practice in Australia was very appreciated)
Refused to accept printed Australian currency (Cash) in perfect order and condition. While this is not illegal, it is very poor business practice and has caused this business to loose this customer and probably many others. I recommend visiting any other liquor store who accepts cash and takes care of their staff by ensuring their staff members wear appropriate cash handling PPE such as Nitrite or Latex gloves.
Need some booze, pop in and get what you want, if they don't carry what you like buy something else and Soni be a sook. It's all good.
It is always a joy to be served by some one who makes you feel welcome and is willing to give you not only they're knowledge but also take the time to show that they are genuinely interested in listening to you and engaging in uplifting conversation. Personally I have made this liquor outlet my favourite not only for the large range and fair pricing but it is the service that shines.
Didnt know how to count. Bought a six pack of budweiser thats costs $17 and a six pack of matso ginger beer thats costs $25 and charged for $46 when its suppose to be $42. Came back for $4 that was OVERCHARGED and what did they say? ! OH FOR F*CKSAKE BEING STINGY ARE WE?
Not coming back at all. That’s just rude.
$35 for the cheapest scotch that tastes like turps. But, I guess, beggars can't be choosers hey, at that time of the night especially. Must say, service was efficient and friendly.
Poor service. 1st in queue last to get served. Not the first time it's happened either. A little customer service goes a long way. Justin at cellabrations is where I'll shop from now on.
Great service but only slightly problem is the empire is slowing to open up. Don't visit at 11am. Eventually open at 11.15am.
Friendly staff who really know the product and are happy to help. Good selection, although not the cheapest around.
