The Wooden Spoon

Terrible service here this morning. The staff were more interested in the photo shoot they were doing than the one customer in the Cafe. I left feeling like I was inconvenience to the staff ordering one single over priced coffee. I often go next door to Little Land and will make sure to take my business elsewhere next time.

Most of us like to start the day with a good coffee so I start mine with one from Wooden Spoon and have done so for quite some time now. I then tried their awesome range of healthy and very tasty meals and snacks on offer. I’m hooked. Great service. Throughly recommend you pop and enjoy the experience. I know I do. You

This was a nice little place with an ok variety of things, but it was pricey in my opinion.

I tried the roasted vegetable wrap which was nice but surprisingly served cold. It had cucumber in it so couldn't really be heated, but definitely think roasted vegetable would taste better warm.

The blueberry and banana muesli was nice with the coconut yogurt.:)

One lady working there wasn't overly friendly but maybe her friendliness was masked by her mask.

I found it interesting that on the window, there was a spiel about eating healthy and not having sugar, and they have a lot of sugary sweets inside.little contradictory I feel!

Cool that you can see into the cross fit gym, but be prepared to get a fright when they drop the weights with a crash!

I’m not sure I’d be alive if it weren’t for this place. Best coffee in Balcatta. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

Contrary to a couple of reviews on here the staff are very friendly and I have always been greeted with a smile and polite conversation.

I was so excited when I discovered this place, but I’ll never go again. I was given barely a greeting by the woman behind the counter, who continued talking to her friend. She ignored me until she realised I wasn’t going away, so asked me what I wanted. She seemed uninterested in answering my questions, said a very unconvincing ‘thanks’ and walked away before I’d had time to tap my card. The bliss ball I purchased was near inedible, and if I want any crunch box bars again I’ll order them directly. I won’t be recommending this cafe.

Nice smoothie, friendly service. Need to do something about that sound system though. That subwoofer sounds dreadful. It's like sitting BEHIND a speaker stack at a club gig.

Amazing fresh and flavorful without being unhealthy. Recommend for sleevers though be warned there will be leftovers!

Love this his place. Amazing coffee, love the chocolate brownies and when I’m trying to pretend I’m, ‘healthy’, they have awesome raw ball treat.

There should be a sign up on the window of this establishment saying 'I hate mums and kids'. What an extremely horrible experience. The lady who served me was moaning about 'mums' and parking to the man in front of me (talk about generalising) and then I received the iciest of receptions from her once I informed her I was a mum and had parked in the correct location. Wow and the coffee was terrible too. Mums of Perth, boycott this place and take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Lovely service and great coffee! Perfect if you're in the industrial area for work, or doing crossfit and want a drink afterwards.

Nice coffee, lovely healthy raw bars but such a shame about the customer service. The lady is always rude and abrupt and looks like she's constantly in a bad mood.
