The Wokalup

Lunch at the "Woky" Wokalup tavern was now a totally different experience to my previous visits. The tavern has obviously changed hands and the place has been updated with the addition of a brewery and large entertainment area/ dining room at the rear of the premises. Food was good although my fish and chips weren't as good as the previous visits. I'm also allergic to flies on me and around my food. The music was OK, but way too loud, we couldn't communicate without shouting. Otherwise, everything was good!

Had a fantastic dinner at the Wokie, live artist singing, great atmosphere, and we sat outside on the lawn. Really good service, food came within 20mins of us arriving. Cannot fault them.

Just had the best and tastiest steak sandwich and chips. Turkish bread cheese etc. It was delicious. Dog friendly. Great pub. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and a delightful brewery with beer garden around the back. Highly recommend and will return.

Stopped by on the off chance and had a great time, selected the tasting paddle between two of us as I was driving, all beers were very good, service is to be commended and food was of a high standard.
Looking forward to going back

Stunning and amazing venue manager. Gave us a look through as the brewary was opening for evening that day. Great story of how it became. The best ginger beer brewed fro.start to finish. Beautiful pub lunch.

Fantastic venue, a lovely scenic drive to get there. Good menu selection & generous servings. Great atmosphere & Friendly service, definitely worth a visit. Onsite brewery.

Beer was cold, food was nice, as was the a/c on a 39 deg day. Worth stopping by for a cold one.

We sat in the front bar because there were 2 many people in the restaurant, our food came quickly and was good

Great hidden gem out the back. Traditional Aussie pub out front. New Brewery out the back. Sit inside or out. Nice grassed area and sandpit for the kids.

I'm sharing a review even before my stay has ended.
However, from the minute I entered this place were friendly local faces, not the usual stuck up looks from city folk.
Checking was easy, showed me my keys and room.
Was just as I expected, clean cute and bed so comfy with big bath and ensuite.
Old furniture, but I feel the intended atmosphere was just what I needed to walk into what l felt was like home.
Shower was sooo refreshing, not far from my intended event, and downstairs to Brugen for a paddle and a meal.
I'm only walking back to my room upstairs for what I imagine the best night sleep I have had in a long time.

What a beautiful little place for a stop over on the SW HWY the atmosphere is great and the food & staff are amazing
Child friendly but would be great to have a better playground

Was a right treat. Thoroughly enjoyed meself, the vege nachos were brilliant, the jalapeños really hit the spot. Great selection on tap and fantastic service.

Bottle shop is the only one south that sells double jacks stubbies happy to order in more for you great service

What a find - A new micro brewery in Wokalup called the Brugan Brewery. Great beers, great selection of food, nice outdoor space for you and your fur babies too.

An awesome pub with with great food, excellent service and country hospitality. I wish I had taken photos of the food but we were too hungry!

Great old country pub. Onsite brewery produces excellent pale ale. The chicken parmegania was excellent.

Great Pub. Great people. Camping room across the road so no need to drink and drive. Should be more of these places around.

Burgan brewery
Loads of brewed beers on tap (hubby got his paddle!), tonnes of tables inside and out. Outside is fenced with a big playground. When we were there, there were kids and dogs having a great time!
Food was delicious!
Will go back, will take others.
