The Wheatland Motel - Accommodation Dalwallinu

The Wheatland’s is a fantastic little motel. In the 2 years I’ve been frequenting it, I’ve never, ever had a bad experience and I don’t even consider staying elsewhere if there is availability. And due to its popularity, it’s often booked out. Always clean and very comfortable and Julz will do everything he can to accommodate you.

We stopped for dinner on our way to Wubin. Everyone in our party enjoyed their choices covering starters, main and dessert. The staff we organised and attentive. Meals were good quality and generous portions.

Stopped off here for an overnight on way up to Kalbarri (inland route). The motel is spacious and staff seemed friendly. The rooms a bit dated but large size but the twin with double bed and single was relatively decent value. We were put off a bit by the 3 mouse traps in the room. However we put it aside popped out to a short wander around town, then back to have dinner at the motel. Again friendly service. Food average to ok. The salmon my wife had, and the kids fish an chips were OK. The steak with veg a bit of a let down. One of the next table had Asian prawns which smelled good, and made us jealous. The main low point from the stay was the little friend we found in the room at night, running about rustling in the bin. Our little mouse friend made the night a slightly less restful one. As a point of fairness management mentioned a mouse plague from the fields affecting the town during this time period.

Eat here at your own risk. The waitress had no idea what was on the menu. She had to googe what medley meant instead of asking the chef how it was served, then delivered a Thai beef salad which consisted of a plate of spinach leaves. Very disappointing.

We truly enjoy our stay, comfortable accommodation, excellent food and service, can't ask for more

Have to say a huge thank you for changing our room from upstairs to a beautiful family room down stairs as we booked online and could not request a ground floor room for my mother who as Alzheimer's and struggles with stairs. The room was changed with no hesitation at all so again thanks for the great service

I stay here semi-regularly. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and Dennis / Jules are always friendly and happy to see you. Asian themed restaurant (they also have a 'classic' menu for more pub style meals) that offers tasty food at a reasonable price. My go-to accomodation in Dalwallinu

I arrived wet and cold after 9 hours on a motorcycle, there was one vacancy, as there are so many city and other people wandering around these days.of Covid.using up resources that there is a dire shortage of accomodation, tempoary or long term.
The manager let me a large double room for the price of a single. I was truly grateful as I had been travelling for days unable to stay at a motel and falling back on sleeping in a swag at caravan parks.

The room was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant was very good a bit pricey but good.

Excellent motel in this somewhat remote location. The rooms are enormous, beds comfortable, bathroom clean and showers hot. The restaurant has an extensive menu of both Asian and Australian styles, with reasonable wines available. Checkout the rack of red wines as there are some real gems. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable clean room, well maintained and spacious. Good shower. Restaurant was good. Food very good and reasonably priced.

Clean and large rooms, friendly staff, competitive tariff, excellent menu / service and meals in the restaurant. Look forward to my next visits to Dalwallinu.

We stayed one night at the Wheatland Motel during our wildflower trip.the place is excellent, the family room was spacious and clean. We had dinner at their restaurant and the meal and service was lovely. Everyone was very helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to see.and when my daughter forgot her very precious teddy bear they were kind enough to mail it back to us. Will definitely stay there again

What a wonderful place for a stopover or wheatbelt base.
Hassle free check in and check out.
Very comfortable facilities especially the kingsize bed.
Superb restaurant-prompt seating, ordering and service with a Thai smile.
Delicious food-recommend the squid, the beef noodles and the lamb shanks.
This will be our place to stay overnight whenever we travel north in the future.

We came here on the off chance there was a room. Luckily there was customer service was very good and we were happy with the room. My husband and i had dinner in the restaurant at the Motel. It was so good, the food was tasty and we wanted more of it. Totally reccomend staying here and eating in the restaurant!:)

Staff friendly, meals great, room 11 spacious but bed sheets actually have holes in them and threadbare! Fridge freezer filled with ice and no door. Need more observant room supervisor.
Showers nice hot water and plenty of pressure too.

Payment made in advance, key was meant to be left out, nothing left out as agreed for late checkin, I have stayed there plenty of times, I will not ever stay there again, lost my trust, thanks for helping make my trip safe. Let’s see if I get a refund, not interested In their excuse at 2312 at night.
