The Turban reviews
45Has been my favourite for yrs! I love the new look on the place and the food is as amazing as ever!
No stars from me.last night we ordered butter chicken, rice and garlic nan and onion bahji.
1st the chicken meat was not quality - it was blackened on the outside and I first thought it was burnt but just gross quality and very dry. The sauce was over salted and watery and after 1 bite we didn't eat it The bahji was so salty
We only at the nan and some rice.
So disappointing! Paid $50.85 to throw in the bin.
Tonight’s buffet was outstanding and definitely a dinner to remember. The blonde Waitress who served us was amazing at her job and super friendly, i would highly recommend eating at this venue, and i will definitely be coming back.
The food we had from here was actually disgusting, watery and so much pepper in everything. It was so bad we couldn’t even eat it. Not only was it uneatable but even if it could be eaten, the takeaway containers were only half full (picture taken when we opened it)! Total waste of $115. Never again would I go here!
Best place on earth if you want a bite to eat- good price and legendary staff, always awesome food- recommended: lamb biryani with garlic naan! Cheers Turban!
The Turban has been my favourite Indian restaurant in Perth for a few years. I had the buffet last night and not sure how they did it but nearly every dish approached perfection. Amazing food!
Be there often and never been disappointed!
Take away also never had issues.
Service is great, good quality/price and I highly recommend.
The service was very good and attentive to detail. Loved the restaurant and it’s decoration and even had a guitarist playing! Food was a little pricey but worth it. Wonderful experience, thank you.
Food is always fantastic, takeaway times are a little hit and miss, usually sit around another 10-20mins longer then the waiting time told over the phone, however the food is worth the wait. Our local Indian for over 10 years. Friday buffet is always good with live music.
Admittedly I haven’t been in years however, I returned this evening and they STILL do the BEST Korma a fellow English person could ask for!
I came for my brothers birthday, they decorated the table and went above and beyond with their service. Including items into the buffet as extra when they didn’t need too.
Absolutely amazing food & service. I’ll be back sooner than I have been. Thank you guys - you did an incredible job and made us all feel so welcome xxxx
Amazing food & great customer service, one of the best nights we had after a long time
We had a private function at turban. Food was excellent. On top of that the staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. They always ready to help with a smile. Highly recommend
Our go to. Excellent Butter Chicken and Lamb Saag + they deliver. Order direct and cut out the Uber Eats middle man ;)
The buffet was ok, nothing to write home about apart from the Dessert.
Heaps of choices but the quality just wasn't there.
The Fish curry just tasted like salt, nothing else.
Dessert 5/5 delicious.
My husband and I have been ordering take away Indian from The Turban for a couple of years and normally have nothing but praise for the food and service.
Unfortunately in the past couple of months there have now been 2 occasions where the food was way beyond their normal high standard.
On both occasions the curries (medium vindaloo and chicken korma) were so watered down they were tasteless.
We expected a lovely rich sauce but it was terrible.
I emailed the restaurant on 2 occasions hoping for some feedback but I have not had any response. We won't risk another experience like this so we will look for a new local Indian restaurant.
The worst Indian I have ever eaten! I order the paneer masala and it was shocking. I’m sure the cheese was off! Will never buy here again! Just look at the owners horrible responses to constructive feedback!
Excellent service with a smile with some very delicious food. Happy to be repeat customers.
Chef u have to make biryani not sweet fried rice totally disappointed both times must clear chicken properly so if anyone eat can't feel that it's raw
Ordered veg jalferezie and dal basanti… the dal was good. The jalferzie wasn’t really to my liking. I prefer it not so watered down and definitely some more flavour. I doubt I’ll go back to this place. It’s a shame as it’s so close to where we live.
We are so fortunate to have this restaurant with a dinner buffet which is a 20Min drive from Perth City. Tasty Indian/SriLankan food. Polite and friendly staff made us feel very welcomed. Their buffet has a wide range of food - chicken, goat, fish, squid, Dahl, pakora, naan, plain rice, and biryani. They also have a variety of desserts. The Gulab Jamun is to die for. The ambience is cool with a singer.
We enjoyed the Saturday night buffet dinner with our family friends. They also loved the food. Love this place and will continue to visit. I Highly recommend this restaurant.
