The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill

First time I've ever been so bothered to actually complain about food I've ordered. I ordered from The Sporting Globe Belmont on the UberEats app just giving them a chance, their menu is quite pricey but that wasn't necessarily the bother. The portion sizes on a $32 burger and fries and $30 apparently LARGE boneless chicken bites was hysterical. Me and my brother both looked at each other and said "really? This is all we got? "

$62 for what was realistically food for one person. That same $62 would get you 6 pizzas 6 sides from a dominos (of which their $4 meatballs sides is a comparable portion size to the boneless chicken bites).

Overall taste of the burger was decent but bearing in mind the price it falls conpletely flat. The bites were the same if not worse.

I really hope it was a one off bad experience because I keep hearing good things about this place but it just feels I had the short end of the stick tonight.

The food was reasonable, as I expect from Sporting Globe, but the service was terrible. We had reserved a table for our party ahead of time and after being seated, that’s where the service really ended. We were offered table service, but were not later tended to have our orders taken - after some waiting, we just ordered via the app. Meals were left on the service counter for extended periods while wait staff hung out behind the bar. The restaurant was not busy, with little patronage. We will continue to visit the Mandurah and Rockingham locations, but will not return to the Belmont location and do not recommend it.

The meet and greet and table service was spot on, the ordering was quick and the meal was fresh in hot bowls, incredibly fresh!
Top experience for a busy luncheon spot during this time of year.

I will definitely go back and so to the young man I was with.

It kept me thinking about how tender the porterhouse was. Slice by slice the juice stays on my tongue. A place you ought to visit whenever you have time.

Witnessed security guard smoking what looked like drugs before entering for shift. Come on bro pull your finger out.

Great place to eat food is always good service is great waitresses are so good always making sure everything ok and if you need anything

Excellent place for a pint or two a meal and a flutter on the tab.
Large open bar can get busy if the important game or fight on the big screens.

Came here for the UFC and the actual place was really nice, so many screens and a great spot if you’re focused on the match, but the food was subpar. The menu looked amazing but the actual dishes weren’t any good, the pulled pork sliders were SO dry it was unbelievable and the cob loaf wasn’t cob loaf it was just garlic bread, wings were just okay.

The staff here are really friendly. It has a nice atmosphere and is very relaxed. And the food is great. And you just can't beat a $20 steak and half price wine on a Tuesday

Appalling customer service! The girl that served us was downright rude and I don’t recommend this place at all.

We attend this venue most Tuesdays and enjoy the service and regular staff employed, of late I've noticed the portions of sauce and sides reducing and today's meal with large pieces of outer layered red onion skin in the salad some was swollowed and the remainder placed on the table to address with kitchen staff this left an unpleasant experience for today lunch

Service has taken a big hit since the last time we ate here. Food was decent enough but long waits for food and drinks and then waited over 20 minutes after our dinner for the kids Sundae to come out even asking about it numerous times. Lift your game, pretty ridiculous for a quiet Sunday night.

I walked into the Sporting Globe Blemont recently at about 6pm. I asked to be seated and was directed to a table booth near the entrance. I knew exactly what I wanted, but was not served. Two other tables who arrived after me were served in the time I was there, but I was not, so I walked out after mentioning that I was leaving to the bartender. I would be more empathetic if the was a jam packed restaurant, but most tables were vacant. On top of this, I counted four or five staff who could have easily taken my order. I've been there a few times before and the food and service has been pretty good, so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. At the same time, I sent them an email with my feedback about the event and didn't recieve a reply.

EDIT: I've since heard back from the manager of the Belmont branch. He apoligised and said there was a bit going on behind the scenes that night, which I can understand.

Got a parmi from uber eats tonight. I didn't expect the waffle fries to be made out of sweet potato and wish I had got regular fries. Other than that the food was good, just not enough for a meal minus the sweet potato waffle fries.

This place is pretty alright.
Sometimes when it's busy the food is slow to come out, but the food is pretty good.
The worst experience I've had was waiting about 50 mins for food to come out, but my friends food all came out in a reasonable time, I think I was just unlucky, idk. I would rate it higher but I've had the slow food situation happen several times.

Great place to dine in. Each booth has a separate mini TV in the wall, they do q different special each day and they do cheap $13 lunch specials which can be any salad, wrap or burger with a soft drink, so good! I ordered the nourish bowl with chicken and my friend had the vegan burger, both can confirm that it was delicious! We were both full and I'd 100% recommend the nourish bowl it's so filling and tastes amazing. The wait time was not bad at all (15mins) and the staff are super friendly and very tentative. Special thanks to the brunette girl working today (Vanessa I think, can't remember her name sorry if I got it wrong) she was super helpful, her attitude was awesome and she made us feel so welcome. Thank you! 100/10

The chicken burger I had was delicious and the service and staff were all very lovely and polite. Great vibes and everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves. BUT the main highlight was the DJ playing on the Friday evening. The good looking young man was playing such good tunes and looked completely in his element, so many patrons were bobbing away and couldn't help themselves but to start dancing I observed, the DJ played such a good set mixed with catchy pop, old school classics and "club bangers". Please get this DJ back as I will be returning on Friday evenings and recommending this sports bar for anyone who loves great music, great food/service and great times.
