The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill

Great food, great drink specials, service is a little hit and miss. I booked in for my birthday last night. We were sat no problems but took maybe 30mins before we were even asked about ordering drinks or food. Got it sorted and food came out and we were all pleased.feedback for management at The Sporting Globe;
- Keep an eye on the front desk. Customers walk in and wait to be seated at the front desk as the sign says but staff dont jump to attend to them, but more glance over that direction hoping someone else assists them.

I like The Sporting Globe, its a nice venue that does all the right things. Ill be back for sure.

Went for a family lunch of 6. Waited a very long time for food. When we finally got it the prawns on the three bowls were raw. Completely translucent raw. Sent them back. Waited another 15 mins, still no bowls, asked the witress, were told they were remaking the whole dish. So after 20 mins the food came back out and everyone else at the table had finished their meals. No communication. No apology. Wouldnt recommend.

Food is always good, the staff are super friendly but the service is awful. I don’t know if they are short staffed or not but the service is just terrible, staff training may be the answer but I’m not an expert! Hopefully they can address it soon. I won’t be rushing back.

I had to get my own cutlery, water and napkins!

Not great deal of vegetarian options for mains. Ordered Vegan burger the bun was stale and dry. If you don't drink and are vegetarian I would avoid this place. We only went because we had a discount. Won't go again.

Went for a quiet beer n bet and a fight between 6-8 yobbos broke out and no security or police to sort it out. Not impressed!

The service here is always been terrible with food. I ordered loaded fries which are good yet the staff member who delivered them said I have to go all the way inside to the front bar to get cutlery and wen I returned the seagulls were eating my food so it was my shout for them. Never have I ever been to a place where the staff are too lazy to bring a dam fork and napkin. This is a joke and I will not get food here again for me or the seagulls that are well fed

Super delicious meals, you can't get better value for your money, and the staff are great, Jess, our waiter for tonight, was very lovely. All round great night.

Staff are so busy watching TV that they get the order wrong. Also waited over an hour for food (a chicken wrap) and were there an hour before the kitchen opened.when I put it in writing the manager said she would refund our food bill if we came back but when we went back (with the previous receipt) I went to pay and was told the manager said it was only $40 and couldn't get the manager when requested to see her. There was no point in lying to get us to come back

Best buffalo wings and they’re buffalo chicken burger is delicious too
Only thing is service is a bit slow sometimes, but we’ve eaten there many times and the food is always excellent
