The spice merchants are the best, i have been searching for Gluten free hing since i took Gluten out of my diet two years ago. I was excited when i found it close by in Australia and totally delighted when The spice merchants said they would send it to me in New Zealand. They provided a hassle free trade, using a credit card and sent the hing to me quick smart.
This is not the first time. I always see expired things on the shelves. Yesterday I bought few drinks and I didn’t notice the expire the date but after reaching home I found all the drinks are expired.
Just visited the spice merchants for a whole bunch of ingredients I've never heard of or used before and they had everything I needed. There was a lovely and helpful girl working there who helped me find everything too, so 5 stars for customer service. Would recommend!
Actually a great store with heaps of products (spices, frozen, fresh).
They also have machine chai which was way better than I thought it would be.

Great service. I had ordered groceries for home delivery. It was a pleasant experience with nice coordination altogether. Felt grateful during covid times.
I have used their freshly minced garlic and it was the worst product I have ever seen. Around 70percent of the product contains water. When we cook, we can't go near the dish as it will start to burst out all throughout the kitchen. Then I have mailed them about it. They didn't even replied to the mail as well. Is this really the way to treat the customers?
Most spices are either expired or expiring in 3 months. Ready made Chappati recommended by store tastes very sour and plastic like. Good brands of spices though. Overall below average experience.
