I have never heard of a hair salon that is eco friendly with products etc. Also I am exploring the ayurvedic life.which this salon follows. I am so happy I found it! I was looked after very well by Belinda and very happy with my cut which is rare for me. I love all the crystals, skincare and jewellery here aswell. I can't wait for the next visit.

This review is long overdue, but I visited this salon a couple of months back and received the best haircut I've had since arriving in Australia over 5 years ago. I used to have my hair cut at Trevor Sorbie in London (who are among the best in my opinion), and I would watch how they put their training and techniques into the perfect finish. After the main cut they would take a lot of time to snip a tiny bit here, thin a little bit there, take some weight out where it's needed, blend it etc, and Sophia is just as good, if not better! For me, it's this attention to detail just makes my hair sit right, which is the difference between tediously having to re-style my hair every morning, or just waking up and giving it a quick brush through. Thank you Sophia, and also to your team for the amazing pampering session that accompanied the cut. So relaxing!

The best salon experience I’ve ever had! I say experience, not visit, because it was a complete pampering experience from start to finish!

I have long wavy/curly hair, with different curl patterns on different sections of my head, and a fear of hairdressers after a couple of awful experiences in the past. The Source was recommended by a friend, and I didn’t even know that Sophia was a curly hair specialist when I booked, so I think it was meant to be that I went to see her!

From the sensory massage, to the delicious tea and little box of love with a cute message inside, to the education & product advice provided by Sophia - the entire experience was luxurious and pampering and made me feel so taken care of, comfortable and relaxed!

And my actual haircut is brilliant! Sophia is obviously a very skilled expert! She’s so cleverly given me healthy, even hair with subtle layers that give my hair body and shape but without making it look like I’d lost half my hair (losing length was a big fear for me!). Sophia took the time to really understand my hair type and what I wanted, and explained to me why she was doing certain things/how it would make my hair look.

The communication and care from everyone at The Source was second to none. I feel so lucky to have found them. I’ll be telling everyone about how wonderful they are and will definitely be back! Such a lovely feeling to be able to trust your hairdresser and know you’re in good hands. I left feeling not just like I had lovely fresh hair, but that I’d been nourished and pampered and really looked after - which is definitely something I’ve been needing. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Need a hairdresser who knows hair and will be honest and make you feel amazing. Soph will sort you out. I’ve been going for 5 years. I didn’t know mass manufactured shampoo added a layer of chemicals to your hair to make it seem healthy until Soph told me. Now my hair is in great condition and shape due to Soph’s advice, expertise and using Aveda products.

Always the most relaxing experience, I feel so well looked after and know my hair is in excellent hands with Sophia and the team!

Everyone here is so friendly. Great work ethic and everyone is so hard working, would say one of the best hair salons in perth. I have really curly and frizzy hair and i just got there qi qi treatment which is fully vegan and it makes your hair permanently straight and it was so worth it! No curls or frizz, no more blow drying and straightening?

Had a beautiful experience today with my first of many cuts… looking forward to coming back. Fabulous pressure free service. Transparent pricing… and absolute perfectionism… right up my alley!
