The Sebel Swan Valley The Vines reviews
18 2 x dble bedroom apartments and 1 x studio apartment booked for 7 nights for family using Accor Vacation Club points. Great time had by all.
Mini golf, tennis, gym, day spa and restaurant enjoyed by all.
Thanks for a great facility Accor.
We haven't stayed here yet but have booked through expedia but we want to cancel however sebel will not let us cancel through them and expedia are uncontactable! Ridiculous that we can't just ring the sebel to cancel
Once again the Sebel fails. Stuck in a room with no bath and with the outside sitting area right in the firing line of errant golfers. Last time we were in a Sebel they put us in the worst room in the hotel and it was swarming with mozzies. And of course reception can’t do anything to help. We won’t be coming back.
Lovely sized rooms with balcony access. Only downside is it's not really accessible for those who would like a top floor balcony as opposed to a ground floor balcony. Kitchenette is great for those nights in when your with a group or travelling with kids.
Great place to stay. The cleaners are amazing because I'm quite fussy but this place is top notch.
Recently wet here with the wife. Was a fantastic experience.clean - tidy.everything was nice.
Highly recommend.
Quiet & peaceful situation. Up close to multiple kangaroos on the beautiful green golf course. An emu or two at a distance.
The apartments and surrounds are lovely. However, when one pays $349 per night, you would expect that when you ask for an extra sachet of Nescafé blend 43, they would provide it. Two adults, 3 nights, we were given 6 sachets. Basically 1 sachet, per person per day. Seriously! I’d expect that at a 3 star establishment. Not this. Not when the cost is expensive.
Nice appointed rooms, lovely views just wish management gave housekeeping a bit longer to clean rooms as alot skipped and staff just don't get time. 15 mins to flip a room. Bedheads covered in dust and hair. (/DNA central) cobwebs in rooms over curtains and splashes on back of toilet seat and floor upon check-in. Girls came back and redid but staying two weeks we was how staff treated and it's just not adequate for proper professional cleaning. Lord knows when carpets were last cleaned.
If you like haunted houses this is the place for you. Spider central. Cobwebs everywhere. Inside and out. Looks run down. Put bags down in the hallways and spiders put webs all over them. I think they need some pest control and also to clean up all the webs. Pretty yuck. You can see on the roof where other bugs have been killed.
Nice room otherwise. Checkin in is confusing. But nothing special for the price.
Stayed here for 7 nights for 2 times. This is definitely a escapade from the busyness of Perth City and Singapore where we are from. Fully equipped amenities with beautiful surroundings. Supermarket is about 10 minutes at Ellenbrooke. The beautiful Swan Valley with its restaurants, vineyards and attractions are about 15 minutes drive away. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit when the borders reopen.
Probably not worth the money. Part of the bigger vines complex but good luck getting assistance from the main vines resort. Big spacious rooms but a strange vibe.
Love this hotel comfy and beautiful area including kangaroos or other wildlife in the area that sometimes come and visit.
Dog water internet cant even run netflix neither facebook!
furnishing is not the best but still livable
i do not think its great for kids because there is only 1 thing to do for free but that requires parent supervision so you cant enjoy yourself in your own alone time
there is also flies in the room which makes it even worse and doesnt have netflix or youtube on the tv and even then you wouldnt be able to use it because of the dog water internet!
the stay was ok but very boring!
Nice place but false advertising in terms of the rooms. The pictures show a nice view upstairs overlooking the golf course and instead we ended up downstairs on a corner with next to no green in front of our "balcony".
When we tried to change the room with the reception (as nice as they were) we were told to contact Sebel directly by phone as the reception only deals with Novotel customers directly. Tried to call only to be left hanging (office is based over east). So now we're stuck paying full price for the room and have only just realised by accident there are people "quarantining" on the premises. Not ideal. Some improvements to address for sure.
I didn't stay overnight, but did get to check out one of the rooms.
This was a single bedroom, ground floor apartment, basic but nice, kitchenette, and a big bed and shower.
Toilet was rather small, though.
Couldn't have gotten any closer to the golf course, as it's right outside the back door of the apartment, making it great for golf lovers.
The rest of the amenities, pool, etc, and especially the buffet, were not, however, up to the standard I'd expect for the amount charged.
On a side note, due to the year round green-ness, as opposed to the fairly arid Perth region in summer, there are huge amounts of wild native animals on the golf course.
I stayed in February 2019. For the second time on a visit to WA. I stay in the apartments. Nice and handy to the Vines golf course.
