The Salvation Army Morley Corps reviews
12Sandra and the team here are fantastic! Although the staff within the actual op shop itself could do with coaching. (not the volunteers the actual paid employees)
Extremely grateful for the generosity shown at Salvos Morley. Very thankful for the help provided to the community.
Recently I came into hardship, the process can be overwhelming. But the staff members Jaana and Sandra have been amazing throughout my journey, they communicate clearly, show compassion and empathise with you as an individual. They provide clear information and services when it comes to Salvation Army and other services available. Which is super important when you’re seeking as much help as possible, especially when I’m not aware of services available here in Perth WA. Would highly recommend Salvation Army and Morley branch.
And to the person that said below they only take brand new clothing at their thrift store, this is not true. I would disregard the review below.
Tried to donate my clothes that I don't wear and also my boys clothes that he outgrew wouldn't except them nothing wrong with them they weren't being worn so I thought I'll donate them not possible they only want brand new clothes that's fine I'll be taking all donations to good Sammy's in Morley from now on they were so rude throwing my donations back at me
️Not really happy with this place anymore. The Salvo's have always been a great place to go but they just don't help you anymore like they used too.
Great front counter operator though ️
Very rude staff member Lizzy was her name she first off yelled at me and my son as we walked in. Secondly I went to the counter to pay for my items that were priced at $1 each she then decided to change the price to $4 each I was like they are $1 so she went out the back to ask another staff member for a price which she said $1 and then she was like $3or $4 then. This is supposed to be a shop for people struggling or lil money if I wanted to pay full cost or more I'd buy new.
Very friendly willing to help have a great understanding God love is working in this place amen
This place is absolutely amazing what dedicated and humble people.providing the needy with food parcels, clothing and listening ears.
All volunteers are friendly and professional and the staff makes life easier for all well done too you all for servicing the community with dignity.
The receptionist that is working today, was rude, unhelpful and hung up on myself and another lady that tried to call through. As we were together calling at the sametime. Will be making a complaint.
Can't say enough about them they helped my family and I over Christmas. "Thank god for the salvo's"
It's a church! Saying that they are very active in assisting with the local community from an op-shop to excellent youth services.
