The Regal Theatre reviews
55 Brilliant Staff and so helpful after we got the time wrong for Sleeping Beauty, we were offered to come in the next evening. So very accommodating and it was a fantastic show for all.
Thank you
We attended tonight to watch Sleeping beauty and really enjoyed it. 2 adults & 2 teenage kids & we all thought it was absolutely great. We loved all the characters and it was very funny in parts. Would definitely recommend it & will be back in the future for sure. Thanks for a great evening:)
Fantastic venue to bring the grandchildren to and see the Peter Pan pantomime. Fun, comfortable, welcoming place
Attended Peter Pan tonight 23rd Dec. Being English origin and having been to many UK pantos we weren't disappointed. They worked very hard to include audience participation. Some Australians unfortunately just don't get English humour and I think find it hard to let themselves go. The cast were excellent. Big shout out for Smee, his mum, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell. Our grandchildren loved it. Thank you. Terry and Sally
We went to see Peter Pan The Pantomime at the Regal. It was amazing. The cast played their role with absolute passion I loved every minute. They were funny, clever and worked well in getting the audience to join in the experience l. Thanks to the cast for giving such a wonderful experience to their audience. Loved you xxx
Lovely theatre, always enjoy seeing productions here. Great little theatre bar, plenty of eateries nearby and a short walk from the train station.
Great experience at Seussical the Musical! Very accessible venue with good seating, audio and lightning. Shop with snacks at the interval was very good value
Theatre is lush. But the corridor during break time is small and can smell people smoking from outside. Very strong smell. The seats are very ground level.so if unlucky got tall adult in the front. Quite hard to get clear view. Overall a very neat clean well kept theatre.
Sat at the top level, plenty of seats outside whilst waiting for the show to start. Nice retro kind of building/setting and the 'Cruel Intentions' music and backdrop just adds on to the overall vibe. Definitely a must watch here. It also helps that the vocals of the artistes and the visuals were outstanding!
Great location for the latest Seussical musical. Facilities in need of renovation though as it's quite dated. Otherwise best location in the heart of Subiaco
Nice little theatre. It's big enough to give you a good feel of being at the theatre, but small enough so there aren't really any bad seats. Staff are always friendly, and the theatre shows a good range of productions.
Great theatre, all seating provides good view, sound and lighting Great. Watched the Addams Family.
Went to Once the Musical with two friends, I am a wheelchair user, and we were put in what seemed like sofas up the very back due to the venue's inaccessibility. I understand it is an old building but there are surely ways to modify and create wheelchair-accessible seatings that don't make patrons like me feel excluded and singled out. My viewing experience was tainted because of it. Hope there will be some practical changes in the theatre to resolve this issue soon.
Charming art deco style theatre. Good seating capacity, good visibility of stage, acoustics excellent. Overall a pleasant venue for live performances.
David O'Doherty brilliant once again, great venue for comics as its not too big, comfortable seating and a bar.
Recently saw the musical Priscilla (Platinum Entertainment) at theRegal Theatre. It was the perfect place for it as more intimate with the audience, chairs comforable and bar opened before show and during intervals, drinks can be brought in. But sadly no cup holders.
Love the Regal Theatre. Love supporting very local productions. Saw Priscilla today. Lots of energy, costumes amazing very big creative cast. Just felt it went too long and the music was too load.
Fabulous, went to Precilla Queen of the desert and it was outstanding. The best musical I have ever been to.
Love the regal theatre. A more intimate style. Seats are very comfortable. Great view of the stage regardless of where you are seated. Beautiful old style artitecture. Lots of cafes restaurants for before or after a show.
Nice cozy size theatre. Comfortable seats. Better than Crown theatre. Relatively easy parking in the evening. On the down side, ladies toilet was small with only few cubicles.
