The Red Chair reviews
8Had a chicken laksa here.was really really delicious, probably the best laksa soup i have had anywhere.the service was quick and the owners are really pleasant and friendly.thoroughly enjoyed the food.lunch times are busy and finding a seat can be difficult.
Easy to find in the crossways strip mall next to liquor lands. There is plenty of convenient parking, especially out the back. 1st hour free, $ 1.80 for next hour. A bit of a line, but the cashier was fast and efficient, so the wait was not long at all. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ordered the chicken Laksa, not a long wait for the food to be delivered by a friendly staff member.
Sat in the forecourt area, busy with family's and local business people and regulars. It's very popular, so expect to wait for a vacant table if you arrive with the lunch crowd. It's definitely a happening place with a good vibe
The aroma of the laksa was very pleasant. Choice of egg or rice noodles. Plenty of chicken, thinly sliced cabbage, tofu, and spring onions mixed in with a nice and hot soup with plenty of flavour and just the right amount of spice. Amazing. They also have seafood laksa and vegetable laksa
Make sure and grab some cold, complimentary bottled house water in the fridge and some extra napkins
You gotta go here.
This accidental find is a hidden gem located in the middle of Crossways Subiaco. I had the most amazing chicken coconut laksa in the middle of a lunchtime rush. It was $18 but worth it. Very popular place understandably.
Ordered the vege laksa and the soup was tasty and they gave the option of egg or thin noodles. Vegetables included mushrooms and broccoli and 3 tofu pieces.
Though food was tasty, unfortunately there was a piece of sharp plastic in my food thus the lower rating.
Came for Laksa on a recommendation. I can say that I certainly wasn’t disappointed. As a laksa affecionado I rate is right up there. Very tasty with lots of seafood. Will be back again.
I have breakfast there at least 2 days a week
Great staff food is yum and good coffee
THIS IS THE BEST LASKA IVE EVER HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF DEVOURING! It’s bloody hard to find a vego laska. And I’ve tried many laskas and THIS IS THE BOMBDIGGETY YUMMIEST SCRUMMIEST LASKA EVER. Bring a container cause it’s so big and you won’t want to waste a drop. I’m so happy I don’t live in Subi or I would set up camp outside. Well done guys, you are killing it!
