The Quarterdeck Deli & Lunchbar + Vietnamese Cuisine

We try our best to support small local businesses. However this deli, should not be even operating this business anymore because they have the worst service. Every time we come back, the service remains the same. It does not improve. It is always the same RUDE service.

The young lady behind the counter is so lazy. We came back, different days, different times. She would often say her mum is not around and she doesn't know how to prepare the meals.

Not coming back here anymore. Very disappointed.

Drove past this lunch bar and thought would try. Vietnamese food menu was advertised as all dishes at $8.88
I ordered bowl of noodles and 600ml Fanta.
Young girl charges me $18.
I asked young man how much was noodles and he asked his Mum who said $13. Fanta was $5!
Why mislead customers?
Could’ve been told price was incorrect on menu before I paid as she saw me looking at menu. From $8.88 to $13! That’s false advertising. Wish I had read majority of bad reviews before going here. Agree with others about the service and vibe of this store as well. Noodles were not good either with only a few pieces of beef, not traditional. Would not recommend.

Are you serious right now bro, 5 dollars for a drink is this a confer store or a pyramid scheme

Bad food, rude service. Despite the mixed reviews my friend and I thought we would chance it as everywhere else had sold out of food. We got to the deli at 10: 50am and asked for Bahn mi but we’re told we couldn’t have that until 11am (their Bahn mi section was all set up and ready to go so it seemed a bit silly) but could have anything else. We decided to wait until 11 and sat out front with our babies. We got our orders and honestly I wish we had not even bothered. This was quite possibly the worst Bahn mi I’ve ever had. Turns out rude people make bad food.

Terrible service from the lady behind counter. Really nasty vibe. I think she's racist to westerners. Won't ever be back again, food average too.

A great traditional deli, corner store & lunch bar combined. Open 7 days a week, all day. Breakfasts or lunches, good coffee, soft drinks, milk. Newspapers. A good range of other snacks and various groceries.
I like the fact that you can choose between pies, sausage rolls etc, or chiko rolls (meat OR vegie), or rolls, or various vietnamese dishes. The quality is great, and the helpings are generous!
The people who run the Quarterdeck are delightful, too.

Well let me tell you the service I got today from the lady was absolutely appalling! The pie I bought was $5.50 okay it was a good pie but if you want sauce it will cost you 50c which they put in little containers so I’m guessing they would be making $50 out of one bottle of sauce! Not bad hey! And on top of that you will need to pay 50c more if you haven’t got cash and don’t spend over $10. When I asked why the extra fee and she says if you don’t want it fine welcome to the future she said I think I will go to the next shop

My friend got stomach cramps here after a couple of questionable nuggies. Not ruling out the stale/out of code m&ms as the main culprit though. Staff are abrupt.

Owner/lady behind counter is very rude, food can be very good, or very average depending on her mood, not a pleasant place.

Lady at the counter told 12 yr olds to f off for not buying something then the man there threatened to “rip the throught out” of a yr 7 at john curtin. Also incredibly overpriced and very rude not going there agn dont go there

Rudest staff I have ever come across. Unhelpful and sarcastic. They do not deserve to be in business. Apparently my English is difficult to understand and I am a problem because vegan is difficult and the staff no understand this vegan. They purposely make me wait and treat me with total disdain. I have tried on dozens of occasions and received the breathtakingly rude service every time. I'm going to stop torturing myself and never go again. I suggest you do the same.

Worst store I’ve ever come across. The Customer service is horrible, never had to deal with such rude people before. They don’t care what you have to say, 0 manners or customer care. Food is always raw and old. The store is very dirty with boxes and plastics everywhere, makes for a overall bad experience. Will never ever be coming here again, hope no one else does either.

Rude and very degrading owners. They think they’re better then everyone else & ignore their customers. Terrible and disgusting service, will never recommend this place.
