The Play Room reviews
42I was very happy with the amazing customer service I received. I rang on Saturday to check if the deluxe doctor kit I was chasing was in stock. Rosie checked for me and when they didn't have any, she kindly offered to check their other store. I received a call on Tuesday to say it was ready for me to collect.
Amazing selection of toys that you can't get anywhere else. Love that I can buy specialist toys and figures from them in person rather than having to buy online.
There is a lady there that is extremely knowledgeable on children’s toys, we were recommended lovely toys based on our child’s age and interests, giving different options, advising why each toy was develop mentally appropriate and although we did purchase 4 things, there waa no pressure, she walked us around advising, then left us alone to discuss further together. This is the only place we go for our son or gifts
If you have trouble thinking of gifts for the little people in your life, this is the place for you. This shop has an exhaustive stock of all sorts of toys: dedicated sections for Lego, Playmobil, Brio train sets and much much more. Staff with a good knowledge of their stock greeted me upon entering. Aisles and aisles to get lost in. Beats browsing and scrolling for gifts of questionable provenance on Amazon. Get all your Christmas/birthday gifts in one spot. There’s even a public toilet in the back for your convenience and comfort.
Awesome selection of toys both fun, sensory, developmental etc. Premium brands so expect to pay $$$
Absolutely huge range of toys for all ages but can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't sure what you are after. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will try their best to help find what you are looking for. Also I know it can't be helped but the car park is awful.
Public here for 43 years and I've never seen a toy shop like this one it has everything good want from baby to young teenagers and half-decent prices and good quality of toys
Have been shopping here since our son was born 2 years ago, all staff are friendly and helpful beside Sarah who served us past few visit, when you have a line on customers and while you are serving there is no need for answering the phone and we don’t need to put up with the attitude
This place is a mums dream (I mean a kids dream) amazing staff, amazing toys, something for everyone! Whether it’s a gift or a little something for your own, it’s got it all!
Great customer service and a massive showroom full of great brand like Grimms, Grapat, Hape, Connetix, Lego and more
So many toys, for so many age groups
Bought a teddy bear and a soother
Wanted to buy the sloth hand puppet though
One of the cashiers (wearing glasses) is a very unfriendly worker. To the owner: please put a self - check machine to avoid judgemental and rude service.
A brilliant selection of great toys for children of all ages. Loads of wooden and environmentally conscious toys:)
With so many toy stores closed now in Perth, this is our go-to place for good quality toys. They have an excellent variety for all ages, and you can find some toys that you would typically find in Europe. Pricing is fine as well, considering the range and quality. Hope they stay for a long time!
Lots of good toy options, educational, fine motor skills etc, could do with more sensory based options, gate and shop rather narrow, hard to navigate standard size wheelchair around so larger ones would have no hope. Staff were lovely and helpful, overall a very pleasant experience and I will be returning.
We passed this shop so many times and now regret why we didn't visit it earlier. Wonderful collection of educational toys.
Not a place you can pop in for a quick look. It's a toy wonderland bigger than expected with a great range.
Here is a toy shop that caters to all ages, from 0 to 120.
The staff are extremely helpful and share great insight to assist in the decision making process.
Absolutely huge range of toys for all ages but can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't sure what you are after. Also I know it can't be helped but the car park is awful.
Could not be more happier with a shop, greeted on entrance by a friendly staff member and hand sanitizer. I'm a 30yo man who has no interest in children but need to buy some presents and the 2 staff members I dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly witch made my shopping experience quick and easy. I will defintaly be back.
