The Park Private Hospital

Stayed two nights here last week for a double jaw surgery. Staff were incredibly friendly and explained in excellent detail what medicine I was being given and how/why I was given it, that whole experienced made my stay completely stress free unlike a different stay I had at a different hospital a few years earlier. Rooms are nice with good TVs, bathroom was always clean and nurses on hand quick if called.
Overall the best hospital stay I've ever had.

After having traumatic experience at another hospital with our son who has an huge phobia of having surgery, it was an absolutely fantastic experience with the Park private hospital.
They listened to our concerns and took everything we said seriously. All staff were just terrific and the Anaesthesiologist was absolutely amazing. The whole experience was flawless. I can’t thank the hospital enough for helping us through what could have been another traumatic event.

Staff are very friendly and supportive. Fee was explained from the first phone call, after surgery you get a small pre order meal, and the nurse will wheel you out to the carpark. Samsung Smart TV in your waiting room, so you can binge on Netflix or Prime, do remember to log out. As for Ccarpark it’s street and verge parking and the ranger frequently patrol this area and will issue infringement if you don’t read the sign correctly.

It basically drop off and pick up for now. Waiting room is small. Only problem with Park Private is it is quite cold both the room and theatre room.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Park Hospital, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with others. The incident primarily revolves around the receptionist's incompetence and lack of professionalism, which greatly affected my pre-surgery experience.

To begin with, I had scheduled a surgery at Park Hospital well in advance and had diligently provided all the necessary information, including my insurance details. However, just one day before the scheduled surgery, the receptionist informed me that my insurance coverage was not valid for the procedure. Needless to say, this news was extremely distressing, as it put me in a difficult and uncertain situation.

The receptionist's handling of the situation was wholly inadequate. Instead of taking responsibility for her mistake, she shifted the blame onto me, claiming that I had not provided the correct insurance information. I was taken aback by this accusation, as I had indeed provided all the necessary details accurately. In fact, I had even downloaded the document that clearly displayed the correct insurance information, which I could present as proof. Yet, she refused to acknowledge her error or apologize for the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused.

Eventually, after further investigation, the receptionist realized that she had made a mistake. It turned out that my insurance did cover the procedure after all. However, even then, she failed to take responsibility for her previous statements and continued to deflect the blame onto me. This lack of accountability and refusal to apologize were extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

The whole experience left me feeling frustrated, anxious, and disillusioned with Park Hospital. It is disheartening to witness such a glaring lack of competence and accountability in a critical department like reception. The primary role of a receptionist is to provide accurate information, assist patients, and ensure a smooth process. In this case, the receptionist's negligence and unwillingness to rectify her mistake significantly impacted my confidence in the hospital.

I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering Park Hospital. It is crucial to thoroughly double-check any information provided by the receptionist and ensure you receive the appropriate documentation as proof. In my case, I was fortunate enough to have evidence supporting my claims, but I shudder to think about how this situation might have unfolded had I not been able to prove my innocence.

Overall, my experience at Park Hospital was marred by the receptionist's incompetence and unprofessional behavior. I urge the management of Park Hospital to take this feedback seriously and address the issue promptly, as such mishaps can significantly impact patients' trust and confidence in the institution.

The best hospital stay i have had anywhere and the best staff. The doctors and the friendly nurses made my stay enjoyable and are 2nd to none. Thank you all for a great stay.

I had my wisdom teeth out last week and the service was absolutely amazing. Dr Scott Aaronson was so lovely and ensured I felt calm and comfortable. Dr Dieter Gebauer did a great job and I’ve had no issues since. The admin staff were very friendly and the newest receptionist who did my admission was so welcoming and nice which definitely calmed my nerves. All of the nurses were great too!

Lovely staff, looked after all my needs, careful where u park, i got a ticket. Nice clean room w ensuite, tv with netflix. Thank you all at Park.

Was here recently for 4x wisdom teeth reaction. I was absolutely terrified because it was first ever surgical procedure ever but the amazing team at The Park Private Hospital were professional and understanding.

I had my bunion and hammer toe corrected at The Park Private Hospital on 19/2/21. Absolutely lovely facility and all the staff were amazing from reception to theatre and the lovely nurses who all took the time to say hello and explain things. Way better than the big hospitals around the place and OMG the architecture and stained glass windows are stunning

I had my wisdom teeth surgery on the 3rd September 2020 and Dr Leon Smith was my surgeon. My anaesthesiologist was Dr Annlynn Kuok.

I had my procedure at the Park Private Hospital.

I was extremely anxious going in for this surgery. I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth and my nerves were very close to my wisdom teeth.

I made my anxiety known about this procedure to my anaesthesiologist and Dr Annlynn Kouk was extremely compassionate and professional. I actually let everyone know that I was anxious and every single nurse, staff member were extremely compassionate and professional. Thankyou!

Prior to this surgery I read every review I could on the hospital and doctors and found them very helpful so I hope this can help someone who is going in for this surgery.

I want to express my utmost gratitude to Dr Smith, Dr Kuok, all the nurses and staff at the Park Private as well as the reception team at Dr Smiths office.

Dr Leon Smith is kind, compassionate and you can tell he really cares about his patients and has a passion for what he does.

The whole procedure was organised from beginning to end. I cannot fault anything.

I am now 3 weeks post surgery and have had no issues with recovery. Just the usual soreness which I have received pain management for.

Once again, just wanted to give a heartfelt Thankyou to everyone involved in this surgery.

I recently had my wisdom teeth out and was so happy I ended up at The Park Private Hospital. I'm an incredibly nervous patient, but all of the staff were so patient with me and did what they could to ease my nerves. In particular the anaesthetist, Dr Aaronson, was fantastic. He spoke with me prior to the procedure and did all he could to make me more comfortable. Highly recommend this facility.

I was admitted for surgery on Tuesday morning and was kept in overnight. From the time I walked in I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces. The nursing staff were absolutely lovely, so caring towards me and always friendly and easy to talk to. My meals were just beautiful, and always bought into me with a smile Thank you to everyone for making my stay a great one.

Just had my wisdom teeth surgery here and all the staff were absolutely amazing! So caring, kind and compassionate to not only myself but to the other patients going in for their surgery. The hospital itself is immaculate. I highly recommend!

The staff are so caring. They made my wisdom teeth extraction surgery an easy process, calmed my nerves, made me laugh and organised everything so well. Lovely facility too.

Staff are amazing. Very compassionate. I've had major surgery and they managed to keep my dignity intact despite being vulnerable. The best care I've ever had from nursing staff. I've also got coeliac disease and the food exceeded all expectations. The chef is awesome.

Best service and good facility. I do not mind a share room.it just a day surgery not sure why some would compliant about it. You get your own tv and curtain for privatcy. I have bunch of food allergy and they did make sure there are suitable food for me. Fee is very reasonable for all the services. Thank you.

Loved this hospital! Nurses were lovely and you get a big tv! The food was also really good and generous! Everything was clean and ran very succinctly, the outside is also very beautiful, looks like a house. It was my first surgery there and everyone really helped to comfort me make my experience weirdly fun
