The Palace Arcade - Fremantle reviews
42$14 schooners killed the mood but the arcade games are great. I think you'd find it busier if there was a selection of standard beer at a reasonable price as well as all of the craft beer. We'll be back for the pin ball but we'll only stay for one.
The staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable. Great atmosphere and we love the old school games! Awesome place for the whole family. Pizzas are huge!
Pretty good hangout for the family or with friends. Food good value and there's always the video games. Also not too loud so you can have a conversation.
Had to organise an event with 25+ people. I was dealing with Daniel who was extremely helpful with all of the questions that I had. The night went so smoothly and the pre ordered food came out exactly on time!
Thank you!
Good to have a beer with friends while keeping kid occupied on the arcade that is free for buying enough food and drink. Gets a little boring after 30 or 40 minutes as it is not an interactional venue. 5 cheese pizza is tasty. On the pricey end
These guys always take care of us… until the wee hours of the morning. Marco & Alex These guys are the best.
Good games. Good drinks. Good times.
Retro gaming arcade with lots of classic arcade machines and a pinball room.
Prices are reasonable for the games which are all cashless, just load some credit on your smart card and tap and play.
Fully stocked bar for the adults and food available.
Booked 60 people for a Sunday afternoon without *quite* knowing how many would turn up but expected a minimum of 27 x ~12yo kids from a local footy team, plus unknown quantity of siblings, mates and hanger-ons including parents. WENT OFF! Kids were super-happy, parents relaxed with drinks and food, everyone at The Palace Arcade, Fremantle looked after us, were super friendly and unfazed. Highly recommend for families but equally would be great for somewhere to go for and have fun on the games at the same time.
Delicious cocktails, great staff.
Door security very welcoming.
I'm not so great at the games, they were fun all the same
Not the same as Palace Arcade in Perth. More like n time zone for adults. I'd rather go to Perth and enjoy their selection of arcade machines.
Pin machines aren't well kept/ break easily during use & the prices are very dear for basics items.
Fantastic experience for our end of season windup! A BIG Thankyou to the team at the palace arcade, fremantle. The food (pizzas were amazing), drinks, cocktails and service were outstanding! The kids were entertained while the parents could relax and enjoy themselves. A wonderful time had by all. Thank you again! Highly recommend this venue.
A very fun evening with little one (5) great pizzas, salad, games and wine ️
Bring a step stool if you’re including a young child as they need height to be able to see and play the games
Fun concept, a few more games and of different types would be desirable (a lot of shooting and fighting games). We went on a night that wasn't so busy but I can imagine on a busy night you'd have to wait a while to play anything, which could be annoying. Reasonably priced games. Drinks were schooners at almost pint prices, a new Perth tend that isn't great. Variety was okay. Food was average American diner style fair. Service was good
Great bar with amazing cocktails and the large slice pizzas are second to none. The games really bring back some nostalgia
Even though I consider myself a big eater I could not finish one their pizzas. These pizzas are delicious and enormous!
Absolutely loved it. The staff, games, venue, alcohol and food are all top drawer. Would highly recommend
Palace arcades first venue for Fremantle.which is number 3.great for a very good selection of beers, 14 on tap.cocktails made to order as well.not your junky east coast beers thank god.food looks better than boring pub grub as well.plenty of old and new arcade games for both the young and the old.
Awesome place to hang out in Freo! It's unpretentious and has a great selection of beer and cocktails, not to mention the pizza menu! 5 stars from me:)
Out of the 6 arcade machines I played 4 were faulty. Pizza was very oily and overloaded with cheese. Customer service was ok. Beer selection & venue is great. The Fremantle Palace needs to attend to their gaming machines as I felt ripped off. They are only 3 weeks old so I understand there will be some adjustments to bring this venue up to the Northbridge venue standard. Will try again in the near future.
