The Northshore Tavern

Staff seemed more interested in taking official photos for Halloween then pouring beers and didn't know the nachos where spicy because of the mince but I like the location and the size of the place is impressive

Big space, entertainment area good enough for kids to run around. Food was good and plentiful. Loads of parking

Its now varsity.
Went with the boys for pizzas.
Great service but music was a bit loud.
But otherwise was great.

Coming here you can expect to be entertained this location has 5 pool tables
TAB, Games, Smoking section
The Varsity burgers tasted like they used fresh ingredients

We went there after my mums funeral at Pinnaroo and was a really nice vibe and place for us all to get together. The food and drinks were good aswel

Worst pub ever. Go spend your money elsewhere. So many nicer pubs around Hillary’s. Staff are rude!

Had lunch there today, awesome menu, food came out quickly…was good. Five star customer service from both Connor and Daniel - will be returning for sure!

Shame it's not doing tradies lunchies anymore loved a good steak. It's now a Varsity bar so burgers burgers and more burgers

Very disappointed in this venue trying to buy a drink on 3 separate occasions (3 different days) 1st - last orders called at 9.30pm just as we arrived. 2nd - closed at 9.30pm 3rd - no drinks due to till failure. Really dissatisfied will probably have to find another place to drink. We usually have a group of up to 10 people drinking on a Thursday.

Know it's a good pub from past experience.
Was closed for 3 days after the night I attended and understandably there wasn't the full menu or drink range.
I'm sure it will be fantastic after the renovations

Worst bar service on Saturday night - waiting at the bar for 20mins each time you visited the bar. Staff was lovely, but only 2 serving for 450 people. Very disappointing: - (

Great Local venue. Had a large group get together and food was delicious. Big serves and everyone impressed. Friendly staff too.

Yep gave it a new name (It's the old Whitfords Tavern) and made it a bit funkier but it's still the Whitfords Tavern with a lick of paint.

Great little venue, very friendly and warm, on a cold winters night. Drinks are well priced and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Keep an eye out for some little friends around the place, they won't eat much. You might think you are seeing things at first but you aren't! They are really there

Enjoy my Thursday night drinks, if you listen carefully outside you can hear the Orchestra rehearsing in the building across from the tavern.

The food was delicious with lots of choice. The atmosphere was really relaxing and the kids had a ball.

Wouldn’t recommend to a homeless man even if it was free.

Attended an event here last night and safe to say the food thats was baught to the tables were horrible to say the least. Fish not cooked at all raw as can be, Steak either still mooing or overcooked to the point dogs couldn't wouldn't even eat it and last of all dietary needs not being fulfilled at all as requested aswell as incomplete meals. Not the Northshore it used to be a couple of years ago wont be coming back.

Average experience both times we visited the restaurant. Convenient if you have kids (separate play area for them). Both times the service was slow and staff seemed bored. Meals were very slow to come out despite being one of only 3 tables occupied at the time, and then were cold and pizza soggy by the time they did. Not one person out of a group of 15 finished due to being underwhelmed.

It was great. Staff took COVID requirements seriously. Was able to enjoy a beer and feel safe doing so. Thanks

Lovely food, good atmosphere and surroundings. Great variety of food. Lovely cocktails? Chicken burger and tempura prawns in lettuce were yummy
