The Monkey Bar and Lounge

They advertise karaoke on a Wednesday night, it is not! You can request the very average band to sing a song, they may, but, you can not get up and have a sing yourself. Haven’t been there for years and won’t ever be back again.

Upfront cover band played last night and they were amazing staff were very friendly and security at the door were friendly but.one of the security guards had very bad body odour. The front entrance was minging.

What in the world would a security guard want to attack a patron who has never been to the night life in Mandurah before, let alone not even speak when we entered, but told 'You are eyeballing mewhat trip was the bald security guard on and certainly not good with all these pilbrow workers talk too, won't be back, please ring and explain the assault

Open mic on tuesday is cool, karaoke wed is awesome. Every night @ the monkey is fun. Cool pub, nice staff.

Monkey Bar hosts open mic nights on Tuesdays. It's a great place to perform and hear local talent. The bar staff are also lovely!

Most of the staff are really nice apart from 1 anorexic blondie who said I was cut off after only having 3 beers than asking for water i wasn’t even intoxicated, apparently if you ask for water while drinking you get cut what a joke how is someone supposed to stay hydrated, and the toilets are disgusting

1 Star - Below Average Organisation. Huge warning to anyone doing business with this venue or the manager Jared Bramley. Specially musicians & artists!

We performed at the venue on the 17th of February & still yet to receive payment for our show. We’ve followed up the venue multiple times without receiving any response and when we finally did in the past few days only vague & misleading responses to delay the process once again.

It’s extremely disappointing to see venues take advantage of small independent artists & for them to have the mentality they can get away with this behaviour.

Once again warning any other musicians & artists to avoid performing at this venue or any bookings via Jared Bramley. Would hate to see this happen to other small artists.

Great little place. Good vibe.and the drinks are better priced here than some others. Love the karaoke on Sunday arvos. Who's that guy who does Meat Loaf so well? Wow!

Great little pub with good and frequent live music. Bar has everything you could want, and some great beers on tap.
