Floor Supervisor Daniel made sure we were well looked after on our 3rd visit. Great food and service.

First off, before reviewing the food, I must mention the atmosphere. The venue is the old Bank West building, which has so much character, it's looks spectacular. The food was delicious and well presented. Good size portions and filling.

This was in my opinion the best steak I’ve ever had in my entire life. That’s coming from me who’s also a head chef and restauranteur in sydney! I was beyond blown away

The wagyu rump with a generous 500g portion was just the right size and the BBQ relish was sweet and smoky and complimented the steak well

Some of the best steak there is. Very highly recommend. A definite must try folks. Have to congratulate all the staff for a great dinner and service.

Our server was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. We came all the way from Waroona for a birthday dinner for my partner and it was a first time experience for him.

The food is beyond beautiful. Can not say anything bad about the food.

The service is appauling. Went as a party of 12. First we had water spilled one one half of the table then a second time coke was spilled on my side and plates craked. The poor waitress didnt know how to clean class properly and i had to help her for both her safety and ours.

Then at exactly 2 hours our party of 12 were told we were not able to order certain deserts as we had to leave. We hurried as quick as we could with the waiter rushing us every 2min.

When we received the bill we were told "okay guys its time to get up please" WHAT!

When my sister complained who made the booking we were told when makong the booki g online it CLEARLY says its a two hour booking and the booki g can not be completed without that aknowledgement. I thought i would check this to see if the mistake was ours. Not one time does it mention a bookong is only 2 hours. Not anywhere!

So if you want beautiful food and you are a quick eater. I highly reccommend. If you want to sit down and have a good meal and enjoy your time with family and friends.this is not the place for you!

Highly dissapointed.

Look I’m all for a time limit at your tables. However, to be told when booking, a sign at the front, person telling us when we JUST walked in AND our waiter telling us as well is very much overkill. Food is absolutely basic for the price. Steak needed salt on it. Ordered medium received medium rare to pretty much rare. Skewer Chicken was $37 and you can count around 6 small bite size pieces on the skewer, absolutely NOT worth that price. After a long day after work the last thing someone wants is to be reminded of a policy which we agreed to when we booked AND saw as we walked in. I do not need to reminded there after. I think the steak was not worth the price at all. Fellow reviewers are stating that Rockpool cannot compare with this place, and they’re right - because Rockpool is better! Definitely feel a bit mislead from these multiple reviews left with 5 stars raving about the staff being friendly and food being fantastic when we were served food we could’ve made at home. Not to mention we weren’t asked during the course of our meal how our food was until we had finished it. We did expect the bill to be high however the price was NOT worth it. Disappointed and will never be back.

Was looking forward to going here but it was sadly underwhelming and overpriced. Fillet steak was chewy - we do better at home with eye fillet from Woolies at a quarter of the price. Lamb skewer was fine, but pretty unremarkable. The skewer gimmick didn't really add anything to what is essentially "chunks of lamb and a handful of chips". Drinks and service were fine.

This place was an absolute treat. Went for lunch with friends. Started with an espresso martini. It was a great mix no bitterness. Entree was the pork belly, soft crispy and delicious. Practically melted in the mouth. Follwed by a 200g fillet steak medium rare. Which was absolutley delicious no gristle no fat. No chewy bits at all. Sides were all delicious veal jus was slightly too runny for my liking. Kids were happy with thier meals. Possible drank the best bottle of malbec I've ever tasted here along with the meal which is why I didnt get any food pics or pics of the atmosphere. But heres the bottle for anyone looking for a good drop. Will be returning to this venue great architectural views of a heritage building! Service was a 10.

Great Food, Great Service from Naz.
The only Concern is that Staff were not aware (As far as I am aware) of the Time the Dry Aged Steak is Dry Aged and the Cost. I was informed that the Minimum is 500 grams, which I am happy with. I would of not known if I didn't ask "specific" questions, I would of had a "VERY" Large Shock when I received the Bill.
Due to asking the questions, the Bill was softened, due to me asking.
As well, the small Card with the Dry Aged Steak Information is Very Minimal
. All in All a Great Experience for my Birthday Dinner.

I ordered the $96 Wagyu rib eye steak and although it was alright, it wasn't worth the $96 price tag, I've had FAR better Wagyu in Perth at places with a cheaper venue.my partner got the $65 steak and was equally disappointed. NOW, THE VENUE- SO. I made a booking for 2 and showed up dressed in bloody silk only to be led to a table that could barely fit our drinks and plates, was wobbly and SQUEEZED inbetween 2 noisy booths of families.
My best advice would be to go elsewhere, however if you do go here - book your table for 4 and say 2 didn't show up because their 2 seater tables aren't even up to a pubs standards. Biggest waste of $250 for a couple steaks and beers.

I went with a friend on a Monday night. The waiter was very good, friendly and professional. I had the steak tagliata and the meat was seriously tough. I didn’t expect it to be the best cut, but I didn’t expect it to be really chewy either. For the prices I expected better.

Had to come back to edit my review, last time we came here it was very nice (probably 2 years ago ish) but last night we didn’t have the most amazing experience. We came for our very special 3 year wedding anniversary, we ordered scallops which were $25 for 4 little scallops, I don’t mind paying for good but these scallops were raw and flavourless. We ate one each but knew right away it wasn’t right. The staff were very helpful with taking it off the bill and replacing it with something else. The steak we had was nice, I’m not sure if we are just spoilt with our smoked meat we make at home but it was subpar compared to that (when you go out you expect better than what you can cook at home) all in all the steak was good, avoid sea food - my hubby got very unwell that evening which ruined our anniversary. The staff were lovely we just really didn’t want our anniversary dinner to end up that way.

Delicious food and decor, service was fantastic. However the tables in the big fancy room were too small - had a group of 5 and one of us had to sit awkwardly on the end of the table against the wall. And not sure why the chip bowls had holes in the bottom, very strange and inconvenient. Would recommend and would go back.

Very Bad experience. We booked a table for 12 for my daughter's 21st birthday. We called to confirm booking. At no stage were we told that we have to leave within 2 hrs of our booking starting. Firstly when we arrived the waitress dropped a drink onto the table, breaking a plate. After our mains, we started ordering deserts. When i asked for a sticky date pudding, i was told that i dont have enough time for my desert as it takes 20 minutes to prepare and my time is up. I had to skip desert. The bill came, whilst quickly going through it, the waitress bluntly told us to please get up and move to the till as they need our table. We felt like we were being thrown out of the restaurant. It spoiled my daughter's night completely. She walked out crying, as she looked forward to having dinner with her closest friends. What a way to spoil a very special birthday celebration. Not any of the people that attended dinner will ever go back or recommend that place to anyone.

Even though we had reserved a table for four a few days in advance, we had to wait for 15 minutes in front of the cashier when we arrived. It was discomforting for us. The table was properly not ready, and I found it disorganised. The customer service was excellent and the food was expensive but the quality was not enough good so I don't think this is something that I'd want to try again; I doubt I'd be back there

When a restaurant kindly accepts a last minute booking for a large family and gives them a private room to enjoy a special occasion together, it really makes your day. The food was amazing with service excellence to boot. Awesome experience and will definitely be back when in Perth again

Went there last Saturday for my bday n really worth it. Booked 1 month in advance n our table was 5: 45. South African meat specialised, we had a nice grazing plate enough for 4 pp, full rack hibs which we could order 2 n stake. Awesome cocktail n wine, great service too, the feature on the ceiling is stunning

Everything is so tasty and delicious here, staff are friendly, but make sure you repeat your order before the waiter leaves especially if you're in a big group. We went here twice and both times they forgot to bring stuff we ordered. Including one main meal.

OMG. The setting, the food and the service. Never hurts to have good looking wait staff. The Wagyu rump and the Sausages were amazeballs. And the fondant. Don't get me started. An absolute pleasure to dine here, only downfall is of course, parking and traffic in Perth City.
