The Meat Safe

I am not a huge meat eater- but when I am, I shop here. The guys at meatsafe are always so friendly and helpful, and their stock is top notch. PLUS I would ALWAYS prefer to shop here vs put money in the pockets of Coles or Woolies.

High quality meat, very good prices. Grass fed grass finished beef, grass fed mince as well. Would highly recommend.

Disappointingly I travelled 5 km to arrive 7 minutes before 4 pm on a Sunday and the meat had already been covered and packed away but the staff were still there behind the counter. I asked what time it closed and the man replied officiously 4pm and I said but it is not 4pm and received the officious reply "we open at 7am tomorrow morning sir". Wont be going there again

Very expensive & everything is too much trouble. I now go to the Princi butchers in North Perth, its further to drive but half the price as here & they cant do enough to help & its never too much trouble to cut the meat how you like it, a proper old fashioned butcher.

I like to support local small businesses but unfortunately I'll not be going here again.

I bought a fresh free range chicken… I was given a chicken that originally was stuffed. It appeared the stuffing was removed and then sold to me. It still had residual stuffing remaining inside and even after I washed it inside and out the cheap stuffing flavours were still present… very disappointing.

Quality meat, and exceptional service. Amar knows everyone by name and remembers what you order regularly too.
Not the cheapest meat in the area but definitely the best. Great range and I love their sausages for the barbie.
Worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a hidden gem this place is. I often shop here as they close late most days, and are close by to me. The meat is really well dressed here - the head butcher really preps the meat in some of the best manner I rarely see. My drop penny moment is the chicken I bought yesterday - dang it was so well prepped and fresh.after my 13 yo cooked dinner last night it was tender as - in other words - so fresh and good that the meat was virtually impossible to stuff up (my 13 yo is a good cook btw -proud dad). Prices are good too - Highly recommend.

We have been overcharged for meat (above their advertised price) from the Meat Safe on 4 or 5 separate occasions over the past 18 months. Initially, we simply dismissed it as an oversight, but it has now happened too many times to be an accident in our opinion. A short time ago today, my husband was also charged $15 to mince $27 of chuck steak. Unbelievable. We always prefer supporting local, small businesses, but in our opinion the Meat Safe is simply taking advantage of customer loyalty and unfortunately we won't be using them again.

I've been there often, and the meat is very good every time. One of the best butchery around Perth.

My partner will not allow me to buy sausages from anywhere else even though we have moved out of the area and my purchasing involves a trip just to buy those sausages.

Without a doubt the best butcher in the area. Whole team are a bunch of great guys. Meat is always fresh and tasty, most of it is organic/free range and good value. I recommend the Sicilian sausages!

Wonderful experience. Very helpful staff who were knowledgable about their meat and able to assist in finding what I was after.

The best staff who are helpful and they have delicious meat. Recommend the honey garlic rosemary sausages. They have converted me from being almost vegetarian to a happy meat eater.

Great bunch butchers in store and grad a produce. Big fan of the cooked beef ribs they dish every day too.
