12All was going really well until one of our mains was sent back. Then the whole atmosphere changed, previously great service became very ice cold. Replacement meal was promised to arrive within 15 minutes, took over 30. Then was slammed down on the table with rolling eyes. Very disappointed with their attitude. If a dish is substandard why should we accept it?
We have just had a perfect Saturday lunch. We all ordered different food and it was so tasty and well presented.
A relaxing and attractive atmosphere.
Service excellent. We couldn’t fault anything. Will be back soon.

But what made the meal stand out was the individuals that served us - truly outstanding
The family loved the previous “The Local” for a casual dinner so we tried Isoletta. Food and service are excellent, it’s just the odd atmosphere. Very old clientele and they gone for a 1980’s WA Inc feel (spot the stockbrokers and dressed up gold diggers). That said, great location food and service just not really a casual dinner spot for local families anymore.

A fantastic experience at Isoletta ~ a delicious duck leg and risotto and happy youngsters with pizza that looked awesome. Great wine list that was extensive and not expensive! I look forward to returning soon… And, 10/10 on the service ️.
He reminds me of myself when I was young buck. He is the best ever. The most brutal and vicious, and most ruthless champion there's ever been. What a spectacular young boy about to become man. I believe this young salesmen goes by the name, evvvan.
A young man by the name of Evan gave my family the most wonderful of service, his recommendation of the crab spaghetti was brilliant. Wonderful service by a wonderful restaurant!
Rather disappointed at the lack of attention we received at dinner last Friday evening. I thought the maître de was completely off hand and seemed uninterested in providing any kind of service. That could have been because he was engrossed in getting things ready for the dinner service. Not an excuse. Thank goodness the young man who waited on us was helpful and professional. The food was very good and made up for the initial lack of service on our arrival. I will go again and hopefully service will be better.
Myself and my wife regularly go here. The service has always been impeccable. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

The food at The Local on Waratah is nothing short of AMAZING! Super fresh, delicious, generous serving size, carefully curated wine list and to top it all off the staff (particularly Wayne + Misha who were looking after my husband and I) are INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend:)
