Great vibe! Had pre dinner drinks in the sports bar, Sinan and Helena behind the bar were just lovely, food was great and fairly prompt, thankyou

Very good, lovely food and rooms, great service but the location was a bit crazy, being on the highway and everything.

Good place to stay, big clean rooms. Not too clear on what's available at different times of the year in the restaurants. Cranky reception lady. Easy access to tours etc.

A great location, an amazing pool, and a big restaurant make the Grande the place to stay while in Kununurra.

Dear Restaurant Manager,

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience at your establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory and I feel compelled to share my concerns with you.

Firstly, the wait time for my meal was unacceptable. I had to wait for two long hours for a steak that was only average in quality. To make matters worse, I was not kept informed of any delays or issues with my order. It was only after an hour had passed that a member of staff came to ask how I would like my steak cooked. I understand that your printer may have broken down, but this should not have resulted in such a lengthy wait time and lack of communication.

Furthermore, I was disappointed to see that customers who arrived after me were served before me. This was especially frustrating given the lengthy wait time I had already endured.

When I raised my concerns with the manager, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The manager's response of "What do you want me to do? Refund you? " lacked any form of apology or empathy for the poor service I had received. This was particularly upsetting as I was dining with my two young children at the time and it was already 8: 00 pm.

Overall, I regret to say that I cannot recommend your restaurant based on my experience. I urge you to take steps to improve your communication with customers during delays, to ensure a fair and efficient service for all diners, and to offer a more professional and sympathetic response when customers express concerns.

The room was large, reasonably priced. Did not cater for Seniors discount but hey, you can't have it all! The bar food was excellent! Order the delectable barra!

So very disappointed with our stay at Kimberley grande. I booked a room to sleep 4 a bunk bed and king. Direct from their site. At 5pm the room was ready then they couldn't find the key I finally get it a key 530 and the room wasn't even made up
And wasn't even thr right room there was only a king bed and couch. The couch was a sofa bed. So I had to go up and get 2 lots of bedding and make the beds myself. No we are sorry no nothing just a foul look and a we need an explanation to why you need extra bedding.

The restaurant wasn't that nice either we order at 543 3 kids meals and a main 2 kids meals and a main came out at a decent time but then 1 hour later the 3rd kids meal came out. They were all the same. The food quality wasn't nice either over oily and not nice.

What a fiasco.
Don't book a table, turn up and all tables are reserved.then told to not worry about that, just sit anywhere.
Fathers Day dinner and we ordered from the 3 course meal selection:
Entree: mango and prawn salad. Wow, that was really nice, refreshing and tasty! Yummm!
Main: Lamb shank with roster veg & slow cooked 10hr brisket with roasted veg.
Lamb shank was good, pretty average as it goes but still edible and filling.
Beef brisket.inedible.tasted weird, tasted off, was pretty yucky. Spoke to waiter who was very apologetic, manager came to discuss and were given a bottle of wine to compensate but must be consumed on site (not a worry)
Dessert: Sticky date pudding with icecream. Wow I didn't realise sticky date pudding came in the form of a cupcake and that the cupcake had been heated so long it had burnt from the inside out. Microwave internal combustion is a weird thing but in this instance the only edible thing that was good on the plate was the icecream and 3 blueberries. Left the rest.

We had a family tragedy phoned to inform we would not be able to stay for the one night. They were given over 24 hours notice. We were not refunded any of our monies.
It was a genuine reason and no allowance was made.
If not a full refund a small amount would have been appreciated. Be careful when booking as no allowance will be made. Very disappointed. Geoff Sharpe

Would never stay here again! Confirmation email states check in time was 2pm - we booked for a special occasion & our room wasn't ready until after 7pm - when we got our room it wasn't made up, it was filthy! Had to wait til after 7.30pm to get into a clean room. No drink vouchers or apologies offered - manager couldn't care less, stating they were 'under staffed'! We all work hard to have a holiday - very disappointed this is what we spent our money on!

Lovely location friendly staff.downfall no restaurant no way of getting into town which is only a 20 min walk but oh so hot on the walks bad luck if your not fit

We stayed several nights here and although the room was comfortable, staff shortages really impacted services. The section we stayed in was without internet and the resort could not get anyone to come and attend to this problem. Being a popular location, staff shortages meant very long queues and waiting at the bar for drinks, plus lengthy service times during meals for our group. Available staff were however, friendly and helpful and it was handy having the laundry facility on site.

Stayed here for 1 night on my way through. Staff friendly and helpful, room was large, clean and presentable, not new by any means but more than acceptable. Convenient parking right at front door, I like the place is fenced in, feels secure. Ate at the bar, restaurant booked out. Had the lamb chops, chips and salad, was ok, nothing sensational but adequate. All round good value for money.

It's big and the king room was very comfortable. It has a nice pool in the courtyard and a big restaurant and sports bar. Meal prices were ok, bottled wine was very pricey with no cheaper options.

Stunning setting inside and out, however the meals we ordered took around an hour to appear and frankly, were pretty bland and underwhelming. I had the chicken and bacon pizza, toppings were a good 5 CMS in from the edge, and close to burnt, yet the dough was still not set and cooked, (turn ya oven down a tad!).
My partner had chicken with some type of puree, she said it lacked salt and taste.

Really nice place, modern and really friendly staff.
Pool is a great place to hang out and the BBQ's clean.
The town centre isn't too far to walk but a shuttle into the middle town would be good rather than just from the airport.

Rooms are large and well equipped. Quite clean too. Large pool and restaurant. The hotel was very short staffed like everywhere in town when we visited (April 2022) so made plenty of allowances for that. The food was really great most days but other days some things like the Gnocchi were out of a packet.
No breakfast available when we stayed, but again everyone struggling for staff. The staff they did have were very good.

It’s Run down - the pics DO NOT REFLECT THE RESORT - no food - no breakfast - it’s apparently rated as 4 star? Bathroom had no door? Aircon was about 30 years old and hardly worked - pool was disgusting with bugs in that bit my girlfriend - even though we booked 2 nights we moved next door to Fresh Water apartments 100 x better - we spent 10 hours on the road to roll up to this resort with no food available? Not good enough! This is no resort

Lovely resort with almost all the facilities you may need! I say almost because there is NO breakfast available but that is not mentioned on the side so I did not come prepared. There is a toaster in room however nothing else and no option to even purchase a in room breaky basket. Even the compendium in room makes absolutely no mention of breakfast options so had to ring reception to ask.
Positives - rooms are enormous and lovely with large king bed comfy mattress and good pillows. Parking right outside your door and minimal noise although there were very few rooms occupied.
TV large with good reception for all channels.
Pool is very large and clean and a delightful area with BBQ if required.
Hotel for meals at lunch and evening was lovely and I enjoyed my choices.
The only issue with room was the flooring.it is cheap carpet tiles which are obviously glued down but definitely do not stayed glued down. Multipmultiple areas of my room had tiles sticking up and caused me to trip over several times as they are very hard and stiff with age so not soft and easily catches your feet.
This needs addressing as an elderly person could easily fall and fracture a hip and sue the hotel which would surely cost a hell of a lot more than just laying some lino in rooms. The rooms don't need carpet in this climate.
