The Juicy Beetroot Cafe

I love this place! The staff are amazing, the food is delicious and the portions are massive (I always bring a take away box from home for my leftovers).
Great little hidden gem.only problem is they don't open on weekends.

This is my favourite cafe in Freo. I always get a bowl of the salads. Everyday they have a lot of different salads to choose from and also hot meals. I love love love the green spicy sauce and often get the house juice with beetroot. So delicious!

I loved this place 25 years ago when my mum used to take me there, just went there today with my kids and somehow it’s even better, fantastic flavours, fantastic variety really good prices

A Freo staple. Get a bowl of goodness and a spot under the big tree. Sometimes runs out early so lunchtime is go time, yum!

The perfect oasis in a down to earth, peaceful environment with delicious vegetarian food. Always a lovely range of salads and hot food.

Had a super duper scrumptious, fresh, and fulfilling lunch here. Got the large vegan bowl which had a bit of everything in the menu. Staffs were very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was just perfect - sitting under a tree with light breezes.

This place is awesome! I'm a vegan and it's so great to go somewhere and be able to eat anything I want from the menu. The sweet potato salad is absolutely amazing and the prices are so good for large portion sizes. I can't wait to come back here- I'm obsessed!

Highly recommend. Their food is wonderful. Incredibly friendly staff who fill our plates with a variety of vegan, vegetarian nutritional goodness. They always deliver a plate of exciting and enriched flavour. I’ve never been disappointed.

This venue is refusing to provide dine in service whilst they need to request vaccine certificates. Disappointing to see such a lovely venue sympathise with anti vaxxers. Will take my business elsewhere until this changes.

Existing since 17 years and I discovered that place today, vegetarian, vegan and wheat free, a paradise for me because I need to eat gluten free, some german food as well

The atmosphere at this restaurant is really lovely but the hot food (currys, sabji's) are very very basic.

Beautiful coffee, the atmosphere was warm and cosy and welcoming, service was beautiful too! Next time I’ll come for the food

Wonderful food, unfortunately they use plastic jugs to transport the piping hot food to the bain marie. Heating plastic releases xenoestrogens which are endocrine disruptors. This messes with your hormones. Such delightfully healthy food let down by a very unhealthy delivery system.

The owner and chefs are meditators and it shows in the consistently excellent, pure quality of the Vegan/Vegetarian food on offer at affordable prices. Very Freo vibe. Casual, eclectic atmosphere inside plus sunny outdoor seating under the Tum Tum tree. A fave place to catch up with friends!
***Tip: Arrive early (11.30am) if you can. Trade is brisk & the particular dish you want may already be off the menu by 12.30pm. Though there's always ample yummy salads, brown rice & dahl available until 2pm.

This funky cafe serves the BEST chai and the salads we had were tasty and healthy. Great staff and my only wish is you were in my home town so I could go everyday!

Also a recipe book would be awesome!

This little cafe is an absolute dream! I've just eaten the best curry of my life! The staff are so wonderfully helpful and as friendly as they come. I'm definitely visiting again.

You can literally taste the love that goes into all of the food! Always fresh and healthy, and made by good hearted souls.

The food is excellent and so are the staff. The interior isn't much to write home about but I think that adds to the charm. Very reasonable prices and a good choice vegan and vegetarian food.
