The Island Brew House

Great place to eat, nice food, a touch expensive for me, but there were lots of people there, all looked like they were enjoying the food.

Haven't been here in quite some time but recently had some family come over from the UK and suggested we take them to this fantastic bustling heritage site for tea.

The atmosphere as always is absolutely delightful, dare I say one of the best scenic views to enjoy some food and bev with in WA; it's breathtaking - and the vibe itself inside the venue is super cute and quaint! It offers plenty of seating options and staff are always more than happy to accomodate any area preference when they're able

A very warm and special thank you to manager Jasmine, incredibly attentive and lovely. She recommended us some specific items and not one of them was a miss! Be it drinks or food (Florence and Duke pizza's and were the table favourites). We loved talking and laughing with her, genuinely the best host/manager experience I think I've ever had. Astoundingly good at what she does, thanks again Jasmine:) will definitely be returning to see her <3

Food was a bit disappointing, the salmon on the poke bowl was still a bit frozen and the beef burger was average at best. I'd go back for the view, the craft beers and the live music though

The welcome staff very nice and lovely to us, but the order waitress very rude, we ordered fattoush salad, but when it come out it not Lebanese fattoush salad I used to had in Lebanese restaurant, the fattoush in Here similar to Caesar salad, the pizza was nice, but when I asked for Tabasco they said don’t have, and I ask another waitress, they bring out tomato sauce, and I asking another waiter, yes he bring the right Tabasco, because if u sale pizza u can’t miss Tabasco sauce, and the waitress (the one I said very rude) come to my table asking me to pay the bill while our family were eating, I’m working in hospitality, how rude was it? Never recommend for everyone, and come again.

Service at The Island Brew House was impeccable. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about providing a memorable experience for every guest. They were well-versed in the menu, able to answer any questions and provide insightful recommendations. Their friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.

The food unfortunately was very average, the servings were small and for the price the food was very basic, I ordered the wagyu burger and it was so disappointing as the burger was plain and the chips could have been from McDonald’s.

Good food, not brilliant but good. Great beer, atmosphere and location making it very hard to go past.

There’s a sign at the entrance saying wait to be seated but nobody came to greet us so we wandered around, found a table for ourselves and then ordered with the QR code.

Lovely little venue in a nice spot. They’ve got heaters for the cold, sprays for the hot and umbrellas for the rain so good for any weather.

Pizza was good but could probably up the quality of presentation. It’s served on a beaten and scratched tin plate covered with baking paper.

Drinks were disappointing. Initially served us the strawberry milkshake rather than the smoothie but relatively quickly amended this. What we saw of the strawberry milkshake wasn’t great though and could have done with a bit more in the glass, maybe some fruit or cream to top it.

Smoothie we had ordered tasted a bit chalky, we saw it had soy milk in it but was hoping that would be to round out the flavour rather than overpower the flavour of the strawberry and banana. Maybe make them more traditionally with a blender, ice and fruit?

Despite this, I’d still gladly come back here for a beer on a sunny day.

Went for a few beers after work. Great location and views. Excellent Kraft beers. Pizzas were delicious. Friendly French dude behind the bar.

A surprisingly good place for the kids to play in the middle of the city! Great service and a wonderful location. Good selection of beers and wines.

Great chorizo so full of flavour. Home made flat bread with carrot homus and some house roasted nuts made for a light lunch just right.
Great service as well.

The décor and air conditioning was nice, food was disgusting ; I poured water into a glass and an ALIVE cockroach was swimming in the water. The food was way too over priced and the quality wasn't good either. There was a long wait for the food, in general it was very disappointing. I would honestly rather save my hard earned money and get some good quality, cheap, take away. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Never disappoints the food is always delicious and of course the cocktails are yummo, today we had a wonderfully refreshing Amalfi's cup and a couple of tasty Pina Colada's. The bar and wait staff were just fabulous too. Thanks for a brilliant day.

Trying to organise a birthday, and they are not helpful or encouraging or anything. Makes booking there just not desirable.

We my sister and i were so looking forwards to returning to The Island our last visit was so pleasant, unfortunately this one was memorable for the wrong reasons. We ordered the Prawns to share and specifically asked for Gluten Free bread to go with it. When the order arrived we double checked the bread was GF only to be told no it wasn't, therefore we only had prawns. The manner of the server who brought our meal was so abrupt and rude like it was our fault they had run out of Gluten Free bread. When the orginal server came to us to ask if we enjoyed out meal i pointed out the error and to her credit she did apologise and offered a free glass of wine. I pointed out to her that if we had been told before there was no Gluten free bread we would have ordered something else like the garden salad. To say we were disappointed is an understatement im not sure if we will be back. I understand you run out of things but please let your customer's know, and please speak to your servers about treating customer politely and at least take ownership of the situation.

Location is great. Playground is great but for older kids like 6+.

Food was pretty unsatisfying especially considering the price.

Very knowledgeable staff and the shop got a good variety of gardening and farming supplies. Their products are reasonably priced and good quality that beats the green shed shop nearby. Highly recommend business

Great spot for a beer on a journey around the river. Will have to visit and try the food as it looks pretty amazing.

Emily is the best server, very attentive to the needs of the guest and should be guaranteed permanent residency through sponsorship!

Another great visit again fantastic service by Emily. Had even more fun with Pete not being there.
