Best coffee in Perth. Friendly staff, quick turn around. Had the chilli smashed avocado and French toast. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. Check it out but also don’t become a regular and make it harder for me to get served.

I really like how brown this place is, not just from the generous wooden decor that gives the place that classic vibes - how you imagine coffee shops are supposed to look like, but also how dark my espresso is and how much flavour is in it. It's not your milked down flat white that makes Perth an embarrassing place to visit these days. I kid you not this is some of the best coffee in Perth.

Aside from that, the team is always friendly and chirpy, so it's always great to visit. The food, though simple, still packs a good one and I'll always be happy to get the sandwiches or cakes here. I do wish it opens later as it used to.

Edit: came back here a year later for my annual Perth visit. Coffee still banging, place still buzzing.

Always bought take away coffee & it’s always been consistently good. Dined In today & food drinks & service is second to none.
Very cosy cafe with interesting paintings & deco. The leather lounge is very comfy to seat on. Whole cafe was bustling with customers who knows the barista/owner by name & just a nice community feel about the place.
Will be back again to try other food on the menu.

I’ve been an on and off regular of the IMP for the last 17 years I’ve been living in Victoria Park.

Love ️ their blend of coffee, bold and strong and hits the spot every time.

Love their food, I miss their tapas nights, but hey… you can’t have it all?

Breakfast has consistently been excellent over the years I’ve been and love their baked goods.

Ordered chili scrambled egg with extra bacon.

Egg was ok, but can hardly taste the gochujang sauce in it.

If you like great coffee, made with love in nice surroundings this place is for you. Situated in Victoria Park, with street parking outside, which is free for the 1st 30 mins (dont forget to get a ticket) Seating is both inside and out and the cake selection is very appetising. I can recommend the date slice. IMP is open 7 days and the staff are friendly and engaging. This is one of my favourite coffee shops which I frequently visit.

Great food, wonderful service and a chill ambience. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast and a coffee after a long night.

Asked for a extra hot coffee was served luke warm at best. Scrambled egg on rye toast was ok. Good size portion but felt it lacked taste but that's just me. Overall it was ok.

Great friendly service. Great coffee made quickly. Food beautifully presented & very fresh. Great place for a catch up a little Gem.

Amazing. Good vibes, lovely staff, delicious smashed avo with a twist of crunchy cucumber that bound the whole meal together.

Extremely average coffee. The place went massively downhill in the last couple of years. Few years back breakfasts here were massive and delicious (pictured). Right now food is super average and not worth its price. So is the coffee. Will not be back.

What a great cafe. Really comfortable and welcoming vibe. Great breakfast and fantastic coffee. The staff are really friendly.

Grear atmosphere, niiice staff. Great food and coffee, easy parking. Definitely coming back again.

The Venue:
Not much to write home about here, a cosy cafe with limited indoor seating, does have an Al fresco area; again quite limited.

The Food:
I stopped by here for breakfast, was not disappointed. The Chili Scrambled Eggs were perfectly cooked, with a good amount of heat to the taste. My mates had the Breakfast Burrito which was quite nice as well. They also have some good coffee here, I went with my Evergreen choice, the Cappuccino, and it was perfectly delightful.

The Service:
Friendly and hospitable, they have a good team here. Kudos guys!

Must try the Chili Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Burrito, and Cappuccino.

Coffee was nice.
Food was conservative for the price. Poached eggs on toast with bacon was stingy and a bit unimpressive. Having ordered the same food in many places this was one of the lesser

Went to this cafe at about 11: 45am on the 15/03/20. Waited alone at the counter while an oblivious barista cleaned his equipment. Finally got service and his behaviour was appalling. I feel sorry for your establishment if all your staff are as moody or unhappy. Muttered under his breath an insult to us to his co-worker, who thankfully seemed much friendlier.

A total shame - the coffee quality is actually pretty good, but the staffs behaviour have made me very unwelcome and I have no interest returning.

Coffee is one of the best I've had in Perth. Slightly cramp setting but still cosy and nice. May be understaff at times but they make up for it with their drinks esp the NCB

Consistently great coffee and food at this cafe. They also have their own blend of Fiori coffee beans which you can buy in store. Atmosphere is also nice and relaxed and they usually have decent music on the stereo too.
