2 Like breathing the freshest of air, after almost drowning, moving our business to Horizon Group was the best recent decision we made.
We left out previous accountant of over 15 years, when I realised that they were giving us the bare minimum advice and care. This caused a huge tax issue and financial challenge that we had to address.
Horizon Group & Julie came highly recommended by a friend, but because we weren't located in Perth (we are in QLD), we were hesitant.
After the first meeting, Julie and the entire team made us feel welcome, explaining things in simple language, and ensuring that we understood each point they were making.
Basically, they took our 'mess' and made sense of it, simplified it and solved it.
It has been close to 12 months now, and Horizon has saved us over $140,000 in taxes, by working closely with us to understand our business, and care about what we do, as though it was their own business.
If you aren't getting what you need from your Accountant, and even if you aren't even sure if you are getting ALL that you need, then I highly recommend that you speak with Julie & the team from Horizon Group and find out how they might be able to help you make your business more successful.
Incredibly disappointed with the service received since Andrew has left.
We were transferred to Dash Vee and shortly after had a consult. Dash initially appeared to be okay, although him reassuring us in our consult he would not be leaving any time soon was odd. Well after the consult Dash advised he would be in touch with recommendations in the next 2 weeks.well after 2 months of nothing, I reached out AGAIN (after multiple emails with no response). Someone called me immediately via phone to advise that Dash had left the company shortly after we consulted with him (lol) and he had not done a handover of our case and clearly no one else in the company was checking into this as well. This person advised we would be passed onto the director and be contacted ASAP to ready this mistake.
Well! That was 2 weeks ago now and still heard nothing. At this point, it doesn't matter, we won't be going ahead with anything to do with Horizon. I could not in faith recommend their services at all after the horrible experience we have had this year. What a shame because Andrew was great.
