Nice to see a family owned business. Portions of chips, Fish and mussels were cooked well. Chicken burger was also delicious.

Ordered 2 "Joe's Chilli dogs". Website advertised for $16.50ea, charged $19ea. Called back when I got home and they were unwilling to refund the difference, only $5 but hey! Oh and Joe's still has them advertised for $17.

Fish and chips are light and crispy. Locally sourced fish is always fresh and top class. The service and the staff are even better.

I ordered a Snapper and a Shark and about $8.00 chips. The chips where fine. The fish and shark where very small servings the smallest ever from there! Mark your Orders? Dont mix?

I had a lovely meal of shark and chips last night. Beautiful crispy batter on fresh fish. Chips were fresh a cooked to perfection and generous serve. Service friendly and efficient and quick in preparing. Sorry no photo I gobbed the lot. Thankyou.

I got served by this bald young man jai who looks like eleven the goofball was very rude looked miserable and the chips were under cooked

Purchased meal deal local Snapper for two. Generous serve and delicious. I would prefer thick cut chips but cannot blame HS due to potato shortage. I will buy from here again.

Thank you Happy Snapper for cooking dinner for our large family fish and chip night. Superb quality fish and not a soggy chip in all of our orders for 5 families. We pre ordered all meals the day before and Happy Snapper provided excellent service to accommodate us.

Happy with the service, priced accordingly + tasty fish & chips and a good menu selection. Easy fast takeaways always consistent and convenient on those nights we’re you can’t be bothered cooking. Need delivery service would be good.

The batter tasted funny including to mars bar and the chips didn't have any salf or vinegar.

Always looking to find a local fish n chip place. Sadly we were disappointed. Seafood basket was great, fish was amazing but that's where it ended. The chips we struggled to find out $ worth and asked for crumbed squid I'm sorry but I ended up eating the squid by its self and binned the crumb. I know you guys are new but if someone is paying good money to buy your goods then a little bit of effort and asking the customer questions when ordering goes a long way.

Huge improvement since the change of ownership! Great quality fish with that perfectly crisp coating. Chips are great and customer service is excellent. My wife summed it up saying “Friendly family, fabulous fish! ”

The Best fish and chips around, Terry is amazing, he's so polite and welcoming, and is dedicated to delivering great customer service, am happy to see the new owners kept him on.

Good Friday busiest night of the year yet the owners and people working here still managed to produce beautiful fish and chips as well as excellent customer service well done!

The Happy Snapper is now under new ownership, using local fresh fish and all other local seafood where possible, the burgers are made with fresh beef/chicken patties and put together with love, you will not be disappointed with this place, especially the outstanding customer service 10/10
