My husband and i went away for our anniversary with no particular destination in mind, I fell and broke my wrist but a lovely nurse at the Bridgetown hospital organsied for us to stay at the Green Welly - we were lucky to get a cancellation and this was a welcome stay in unfortunate circumstances, Ivan and Debbie were fabulous hosts and the breakfast was amazing. Such a lovely atmosphere, the room, which was actually like an apartment was separate from the main house, lacked nothing and all the thoughtful items available for use made our stay wonderful. I will definitely recommend the Green Welly and hope to return soon.

First - The Location - what a fabulous view over distant paddocks amongst the rolling hills and valleys of the Donnelly River - surrounded by sheep paddocks - a bit like "The Dish" really.
Second- The Accommodation - The Nook is a converted wine cellar/store, with its own ensuite, outdoor seating and views. It has everything you could need, and much much more. A comfortable, clean, private and cosy room.
Third - The Hosts - Jenny & Ivan are just magic. So friendly, chatty and devoted to their guests needs and wishes. So easy to talk to and willing to do anything to make one's stay as good as possible.
Fourth - The breakfasts - these are exceptional and we guarantee you won't get better anywhere - all home produced and hand delivered each day, on time and waiting to be devoured.
Lastly - we (Rosie & Tony) highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone visiting Bridgetown - and make sure you go to the Visitors Centre, and go and see the Jig-Saw puzzle display - simply out of this world!

Stayed in The Nook - absolutely lovely. Hosts Karen & Ivan were delightful and provided the most wonderful breakfast hampers. The special things like a pamper box, knitted slippers, a bottle of local wine and the cute knick knacks made our stay wonderful. Best B&B we've stayed in.

Great little quaint bed and breakfast. I had the pleasure is staying at Jenny and Ivan's bed and breakfast for 2 nights while working in the area. I had a great breakfast included and felt bad that I could not eat all the delicious food. I had a good chat with Ivan during breakfast and he has a wealth of knowledge of the area. The room was kitted out with a lot of activities that could keep you busy in summer or winter. The shower had great water pressure and nice and hot to walm you up on a cold winters night. I will definitely stay if work brings me down this way again!
