What a wonderful stay surrounded by bushland and birds. The 2 bed cabin was lovely with high ceilings and everything you could need.
We both needed time to unwind which this certainly did. Loved the bocce and croquet and the birdlife was incredible.
My knees aren't good so all the different levels were taxing on me.
The place was so clean.well done!

Six night stay in the Jarrah Cottage. Beautifully appointed, amazing gardens and a perfect location. Could not have asked for more…. Except a longer stay. Will definitely go back!

I stayed with my partner in the Wood cabin for 2 nights and it was absolutely incredible. The large chalets are beautifully furnished with gorgeous pieces of art from local artists, the kitchen is well equipped and the cabin had a large deck with views of the ocean. We loved it.

Had an absolutely lovely weekend whilst staying at The Floating Forest. It was clean, quiet and very cosy. The firewood was a nice touch and the kitchen was well stocked. Perfect for a couples or solo weekend away. I'll definitely be back.

My partner and i stayed in the Earth cabin for 2 nights. Absolutely incredible views and location, 5 minutes from the town center, but far enough to be private and serene. All the little touches really add up, from free firewood, coffee pods and kitchenware, high quality consumables and more.

The cabin itself is really special, worth the trip itself. Sharon and Damien have made something wonderful here.

Amazing- couldn't fault a thing, 4 nights here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary was perfect. To wake up to these beautiful views each morning was priceless, the wood fire made the room so cosy and the huge bath tub just melted away any aches from the days hikes. If you need de stressing this is the place to do it.

My partner and I spent 4 nights in the Earth Cabin but could have easily spent a week or two.

The Floating Forest is stunning and located in a beautiful part of Denmark - conveniently close to town but far enough to turn off from the outside world.

The cabin was very clean and well equipped for a getaway (quality coffee machine, cooking utensils, a well maintained BBQ etc.)

We enjoyed spending each morning on the porch watching the array of beautiful birds come and go just centimetres away.

Our stay took place during the 2022 Denmark fires, however, we were made to feel extremely comfortable - even when the region entered “watch and act”. The owners maintained consistent communication throughout and provided timely updates regarding the ever changing situation - thank you!

We can’t wait to stay again.

I like the cabin. You can see the stars because there isn't a lot of light pollution. The fireplace is great for roasting marshmallows. Spacious and clean rooms. Beautiful surroundings, all trees and sky.

Great customer service from the team. Had issues due to covid delaying my honeymoon and was helped quickly with no fuss. Will definitely be stopping in on my next trip to Denmark.

Lovely spot and still close to town. Welcoming hosts. Kangaroo at the front door! Comfortable rammed earth cabin appropriately called "Earth. " Well appointed.

We spent four nights in the extremely comfortableTingle cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very well equipped, sparkling clean and the view from the deck is beautiful. There was an abundance of birdlife on the property and daily visits by kangaroos. Dale and Louise are excellent hosts and we look forward to returning very soon.

What a great place for your stay in Denmark.
On the outskirts of town with stunning views of the inlet. Wildlife abound. Kangaroos parrots blue jays and kookaburras aplenty.
The chalets have everything you want for a short stay, even a log fire for the chilly nights, but if that’s too hard the aircon works fine.
You need a car as there’s no footpaths on the main road from town. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful accomodation with stunning scenery that is well kept and kindly catered for. Dale & Louise’s services were amazing and they made it feel like the whole place was our own. Gorgeous, clean little cabin with everything you’d need for some time away?

My wife and I stayed in Tingle which is located at the highest point on the property backing up close to the tall timbers of the forest looking out through the trees with Wilson Inlet in the distant foreground, absolutely gorgeous, lots of Fairy wrens, Western Roseliias, Kookaburras and Honeyeaters.
The property is off Mount Shadforth road, which is one of the most scenic drives in the area and a must do.
The chalet was perfect in every way.
Will definitely go back, love Denmark.

We're so happy with our stay at the Floating Forest, everything about our experience met or exceeded our expectations. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful, clean and cosy. Great price, unobtrusive but helpful and friendly service from Dale and Louise. There is literally nothing bad we can say about this place, we can't wait to come back!

I keep coming back and highly recommend. An incredibly serene location among the karri forest. Cabins are private and fully stocked with everything you might need. Dale and Louise are lovely and very accommodating. Definitely pay a visit you will be raving about it!

Quite possibly the best place I have stayed in Albany! We could not fault it. Dale and Louise were so welcoming and friendly, they were easily contacted and super helpful. We stayed in Earth cabin and absolutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable and warm. There is a fireplace stocked with wood and firelighters and a little kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. We were very warm despite it being winter. Soap and shampoo provided for guests to use. Incredible views from the private balcony area, very peaceful and serene. You couldn't ask for more! We will definitely stay again.

A pristine cabin in a tranquil forest.enough said! A labour of love from Dale and Louise, and it shows. Our second visit and we would not hesitate to stay again.
