The Emerald Room Restaurant reviews
36 My wife & I rocked up at about 715pm to check in after making a hurried booking the night before, not knowing what to expect when we arrived.
Well what a surprise, very friendly staff upon arrival, quick check in and asked if we would like to eat in the restaurant to just call ahead. A quick check of the menu and we decided to give it a go.
Compliments to the very friendly and accommodating staff, and compliments to the chef for a simply awesome meal.
The room was very clean and recently renovated, very comfortable bed.
Perfect service. I cannot say enough about the food. The quality was better than most top restaurants serve. Hold on to this chef. He is worth his weight in gold and I mean it.
Thank you.
Excellent service, delicious meal which was well presented and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was good too. We would definately stay hete again!
Would have to give The Emerald Room the best stake in Geraldton badge. Great service and well priced. Recommend.
Absolutely nothing to fault. The service was excellent, staff were helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the chicken and fried camembert entree!
The service and food are great.
Had a breast chicken and chorizo, it was ready cooked and beautifully presented. Cooked perfectly.
Clean place to eat. The menu is different. I had the Chorizo Chicken and the portion was just right. They make a very good coffee as well. Servers are pleasant. Definitely recommend.
What a pleasant and tasteful location
Had a superb meal would recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike friendly and good quality food and drinks. Well done worth another visit
Excellent Service!
The meals are out standing.
The chef takes pride in his work and knows how to cook the perfect steak. Well worth a visit!
Fantastic food, everyone had a superd meal. Kids had the fish and chips and chicken skewer. It was very well cooked, the batter was not too oily. Pork belly was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and juicy meat.
Our starter was nice, but nothing to shout about, basic ingredients made into a basic dish. The steak on the other hand! Was soooooo good! Cooked to perfection! Only down fall for our visit was the fact I'm lactose intolerant, I told our waitress as I removed the blue cheese butter from my steak. I asked if there was any other dairy on the plate and she said no. The potatoes then come with cheese on, Minor for most but when you can't eat diary, I would of been happy for her to check with chef before she finalised our order. But overall the food outweighed the service.
Food and Staff were lovely. Menu cratered for everyones tastes & kids were extrenely happy with their fish & chips!
The food was exceptionally good, the current chef knows their stuff. I was really impressed by how good the dishes were - great presentation, awesome flavour, and very quick. Staff efficient and friendly.
Had a great experience when we went for bbf birthday dinner. Service was great food was awesome except for bruschetta was like a pizza sub.pork belly sweet potato mash with fennel and beef medalian with yummy hand chips and ancho chilli.yummmm.definately recommend
The food is just sad, don’t go there if you have any other choice.
Stayed in the attached motel and ordered room service as it was too late to go out. I understand that prices are more expensive in these place but what I got was just disappointing!
Ordered the Zucchini and Mushroom Bolognese (28$) and the Cherry “Tom” Chicken (30$), both were very bland and reminded me of food in a school canteen.
The chicken was served with “Mediterranean couscous” which was firstly no couscous (some other grain maybe, like rice pops) and secondly full of raisins! I don’t like to eat raisins so I picked them out of my food. Have a look on the pictures how many there were! It was not mentioned in the menu at all. I’m usually ok with things like that but seriously, this was more a raisin salad than any couscous dish.
Zucchini noodles were all watery and the sauce had no mushroom taste at all.
Both dishes were in general not a well flavored.
Finished both dishes (except for the raisins) as were on the road the whole day and starving.
The quality of food is really poor for the ridiculously high prices!
Staff is very friendly all over the place.
