The Edge A La Cafe Reastaura reviews
34The food is reliable and has been for years. The seafood laksa is amazing, even though there weren't many pieces of seafood in there, the food I ate was outstanding and one of the best I've ever eaten.
Please note, the menu at the actual restaurant is not at all like that which is on their website. Disappointing and due to that fact, we did not stay.
Just had a lovely dinner - great food and service (very quick and friendly) from the team there. Definitely book early, as it's a very popular place.
The food was amazing. The staffs are friendly, especially the Senior Lady. Our food were coming so fast. We were hungry as we had such a long trip. I would love to come back again.
Dinner at restaurant was pleasant and nice. Sitting outside was bonus as they did have reservation for the bus group the same night. I love seeing young people all over world working here in a small town.
Generally very good. Only downside was it was very busy the night we visited. Staff very helpful and food was great.
Thank you Kalbarri Edge Resort
You made our Wedding Anniversary also St Valentine's Day so very special.dinner was deluxe serving us a free glass of Champagne on arrival.
My husband and I have been to have dinner at your restaurant many many times you never fail to give us the best.your staff are very professional and friendly
Accommodation is very good. Service also great. Facilities showing a little age but great value for money nonetheless!
The food was nice, the massive let down was the service. The main waitress that served us was the rudest lady! Never have I come across such unprofessional service in a restaurant before, it made the whole experience incredibly uncomfortable. If you go i would avoid the tall blonde older waitress.
Disappointing service. Server seemed more interested in hugging her friends than serving. Tried very hard to get a second drink but server appeared trained to avoid eye contact. Food was not brilliant so gave up. Might be ok if you are a local in with the staff.
Just go somewhere else, go to Finlay's or the upstairs restaurant.
For a $40 fish dish I expected better quality ingredients. The vegetarian option was disappointing, it was drowning in olive oil and the roast onion was an onion literally cut in a 1/4.
Absolutely amazing food and service! Every dish we had was five star. The pork belly and the lamb rack were the highlights. Cant recommend highly enough!
Spent Friday and Saturday night there, great location, neat and tidy room and friendly staff. Booked dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night and was disappointed by the service who seemed to be the duty manager for the night. Her rudeness towards us ordering a cocktail made us feel like an inconvenience as they had a bus booking in! If that’s the case then maybe remove the cocktail menu list and be polite towards people who are looking for a nice night out. All other staff for the night were friendly and polite but she made us feel like the bus service was the priority and left a negative feel for us.
Best place I've eaten in ages. Service was on another level and food was fresh, hot and delicious and pretty reasonably priced
Service was excellent - prompt, friendly and helpful. Waitress apologised for limited choice but nothing wrong with that if the choices are done well - they weren't done well, they were excellent. We went for the specials. My generous lamb rack was perfect - a tiny tinge of pink, tons of flavour with little rosemary bombettes of taste every now and again. Vegetables and sweet potato/potato stack were good but the lamb was so good and the accompanying sauce just right. Wife's seafood risotto also excellent with NZ Green lipped mussel, pipis (small clams) not overcooked etc. Left feeling surprised and very happy. Had far inferior meals in higher rated Perth restaurants at triple the price.
Try it - you won't be disappointed!
I ordered the Snapper with garlic prawns chips and salad. Lovely fresh fish, cooked well. My husband's was a little over cooked, a little on the dry.
Beautifully done seafood marinara pasta with generous amount of seafood. Enjoyed the slight spice which definitely complements the rich tomato- based sauce. However the pasta was on the soft side.
We also ordered the confit duck and it was great, tasty and the meat falls off the bone yet retaining crispy skin.
The only issue was it took quite long about 30 min for us to get our dinner after ordering.
The restaurant was running at reduced capacity and bookings were essential.
I had the duck, and must compliment the chef; it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The flavours were delightful and everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
Had a booking for 7: 30pm, arrived restaurant half full. Stood at front for 10 minutes before being served.
Took order about 20 minutes later.
Ordered meal to come together however garlic bread came in another 20 minutes.
Now 9pm closing time still no main and very hungry child. Would have to be worst service ever received, covid?
Didn’t enjoy anything. The food is just a buffet and smelly room. I hope they actually clean it properly.
