Joining The Dance Collective has been life changing. I have been part of the dance community for over 20 years. Though, when I walked into the TDC doors I was met with a level of professionalism, diversity (in multiple ways!), quality, and overall amazing and welcoming vibes, I had yet experienced before. They really stay true to the word ‘Collective’, with everyone being included, as well as the collaborative nature on which the dance school operates. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life to be a part of this incredible dance school and I just wish I joined sooner!

We have two kids dancing here since earlier in the year, doing three different classes in total each week and they absolutely love it. So supportive and encouraging.

Then the CONCERT! Wow. What a sensational outcome. We haven't done one before and were not prepared for how amazing it would be. So well organised for a parent of two kids. So well organised for the kids. The communication leading up to the day was spot on. The way they organise all of the costumes. The rehearsals and the support given along the way. Fantastic.

As a spectator at the concert it was absolutely brilliant. So much variety in the music, costumes, choreography. Brilliant venue. Enough cuteness to last a lifetime and a enough talent to impress!

Very uncoordinated. The behaviour of some children are unacceptable. However, great teaching from students.

My daughter has been attending this school since she was 4 and she absolutely loves it. She tried few different styles of dancing. As a parent, I can highly recommend TDC. The teachers are well trained to work with children, kind and caring. The school in general has a child friendly and appropriate etiquette.

I have been dancing at The Dance Collective for 6 years and have looked forward to every class. Not only have they built my confidence and helped me to improve as a dancer, but they have also given me a second family. The most special part about TDC is the people and how accepting and encouraging they are. I am so lucky to have the friends and experience The Dance Collective has given me, as I know I will use everything I have learnt in the future! Couldn't recommend this studio any more!

My daughters (aged 8 and 11) have been dancing at TDC since they were 5 and absolutely love it. Their teachers are very talented dancers, choreographers and interact brilliantly with kids. The culture at TDC is warm, friendly, open, fun, environmentally conscious, and low stress. The costumes, music used and choreography is child-appropriate. We just love everything about TDC and will never move dance studios. I've even joined in some of their adult classes. It's a hidden gem that we are lucky to be part of. Thanks to the director Charrise for running a fantastic dance studio!

I do five classes a week at The Dance Collective and love every minute. It has a vibrant and welcoming culture that is remarkably diverse. The company pursues excellence in dance without every losing sight of the value of respect and inclusion. There is genuinely a place for everyone at The Dance Collective.

My daughter has danced at The Dance Collective (TDC) for 8 years, since she was 5. We knew the minute we walked through their doors that this was the right fit for us. Every teacher she has had is well qualified, kind and encouraging. The Director Charisse and Assistant Directors and professional and always approachable. TDC promotes positivity and exposes my daughter to more than just dance. They teach our children about world issues, inclusivity, acceptance and encourage dancers to really immerse themselves in feeling their dance movements. It is a safe space for everyone to just be themselves, learn valuable life experiences and meet wonderful friends from all walks of life. The end of year concerts are a highlight, you can't help but smile and stare in wonder at the amazing performances. Come and try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing dance studio, with classes to suit everyone from tiny tots to adult dancers. The team at TDC work hard to not only deliver top notch classes and choreography, but to create an inclusive, inspiring and supportive culture. I've been dancing here for more than 15 years and won't be going anywhere else any time soon!

This is my daughter first year going here and this dance school is amazing. The staff are all friendly and helpful. She had been to other dance school before but nothing like this one.

TDC created a safe space for me to learn to dance. At 24, with no dance experience or training I was nervous and unsure of myself. Two years on I am now thoroughly involved in the dance world and can’t live without it. Such positive vibes in this studio ️

Best dance school for kids! Teachers are kind and tentative. The owner Charisse is so dedicated to the studio and her work! Would highly recommend!
