The Dale

Three stars because of great service at the bottle shop. Would have been 5 stars except for paying $12 for a pint at the bar Friday afternoon. Facilities are nice enough though

You don't find many unmolested old school front bars these days. They're usually demolished or over polished. This one is classic suburban watering hole. No frills, no bling no worries. Spacious, suitably equipped with pool tables, pin ball, pokies and a beer garden. Down to earth, experienced staff round it off perfectly.

Great places and variety of things on offer as per menu however It seemed to be they could use a bit of added variety and new items in the menu to spice up the things a little bit

Very good food, large great selection. Pub prices. Helpful friendly staff. Nice place. Always quite busy. Did not have to wait too long for meals& drinks. Quite new

The food was lacking in flavour and everything was covered in oil.
The bolognaise risotto tasted like plain mince.
As did the samosas.
All in all it was very bland and greasy.

We had dinner here for three times, will no longer coming back for foods. Their foods quality are getting worst.although prices are very cheap. Beer is just $7 per pint from 7pm

The food was not great quality the drinks were ok but unfortunately slow services the bar tender was talking to overs and the bathrooms were disgusting I don't recommend going their

Got the pork belly, chips and salad.
$29 for the smallest pork belly. A mouthful of salad and chips

Menu had changed, chefs are different too.quite disappointed, food aren't as good as before. Fish & chips are quite soggy and portion is small, , crispy skins pork belly is not crispy too.i think angus steak is the best among all.

Ordered the loaded chips with pulled pork and cheese. It wasn't pulled pork it was slices of pork that were very tough. Not sure where the cheese got to but there was one section that had a very small amount of melted cheese but you had to look close to see it. Would not recommend to anyone.

First time going to this pub
And upon entering thought it looked good with plenty of people in there.
When we approached the bar, the bar person was quiet rude and questioned why we were there in a way that was abrupt.
Feeling like we should have been in ther we only ordered one drink each and this felt like an intrusion on her time.
May she could have taken the time to inform us that it was Thursday night $15 Parma night with a quiz and we may have stayed for a meal and a few more drinks instead of leaving after one drink and going to Chinese down the road with byo drinks

I must have been ahead of the rush. I was the only one there. Had the fire to myself. Very nice pub.

I couldn't have asked for a better venue the Dale function room. Best services I have ever had, so helpful, so generous, and so just cared about our night being perfect. And the food OMG I'm never doing the cooking and catering myself again I will leave it to the chef at the Dale. I could not have done better than all the amazing food that they supplied. Everything was perfect and a great night was had by all, so thank you everyone at the Dale

Chilled vibes, it's a shame they don't have live music any more. Sad to see the jukebox and stage go.

Visited last week and found the place has gone downhill since the first time we visited. Most items on the menu weren't available due to only having temporary chefs on. This affected some starter items we ordered, which we didn't find out until they turned up at the table. The excuse was "oh, some things might turn out differently because of different chefs". Not really good enough.
Sad to see such a promising place do a 180. We won't be back.

Great service however it is very quiet. People need to take the plunge and try this place out U will be surprised! They have great drink specials

Nice fitout in public bar specials everyday for food.
Friendly staff. Great place for a party/function.
