The Curry Hut reviews
25We ordered the lamb korma and mango chicken tonight, the whole family fell in love with all the food. The chicken was cooked perfectly tender as well as the lamb. We have found the best Indian food around. Love it. Thank you curry hut
Ordered mango chicken takeaway, the quality of the chicken was terrible, very disappointing.
Lovely place.
I had butter chicken and a mango lassi.
Both were delicious
I brought some food home for another meal as there was a lot of it for me.
It wasn't that cheap at about $24 plus $5 for rice. But it was yummy.
There was a self-serve too for $19.50, but it was too hot tasting for me. Half the group had that and finished by the time we got our food.
Not into Indian food but thought I would give it a go and had butter chicken. It's not hot and spicy and with a serving of rice it went down nicely. There is alcohol there aswell and non-alcoholic drinks. Very authentic Indian food so if this is your kind of food then go check this place out. Staff were really helpful and happy which made the visit so much better.
Food was passable but came an hour later than promised. Excruciatingly slow, multiple phone calls promising “it’s 10 mins away”. Hard to support local when this is all you get
Absolutely delicious food. I have had takeaway from here for years but dined in for the first time. The service was friendly and fast. There was only one man serving all customers, and he did an exceptional job. The food and wine were well priced. The meat was succulent and flavourful with the perfect amount of seasoning. The naan bread was freshly cooked and added to a brilliant dining experience. There is ample and easily accessible parking. While we were dining an elderly lady who required a zimmer frame was easily able to enter and exit the facility.
The only criticism I have is that the in restaurant dining feels like you're eating in a shop. It doesn't feel cosy. There are cheap ornaments on the walls and windows, and a youtube video of a very loud Indian music playlist playing. It was clean and comfortable.
Will definitely be back.
Walk in to order take away at 4: 45. I was told 30 mins to pick up. Came back and was told later as kitchen opens at 5. Another 20 mins. Samosas were very nice and tasty but butter chicken could definitely improve in flavour. Overall there is plenty room for improvement; please explain clearly to your costumers the opening times of the kitchen or just don't take orders until ready to deliver. And butter chicken it's probably one of the most popular curries, so review your dish in terms of flavour. I would love to order more often, hopefully feedbacks are taken. Best wishes.
Delicious, fresh, authentic Indian food. Rich flavours, with high quality and tender cuts of meat. Excellent service and pleasant decor. Highly recommended and great for lovers of spicy food!
Have had Indian curries around the world and this is pretty good. Lamb dhansak - which you don’t see often - was tangy and authentic. Lamb Rogan Josh also very good with nice spiciness. Garlic naans good too. Couple of our group raved about the goat curry.
Service is friendly but was bit slow as they seemed to have a lot of takeaway business coming in.
All in all very good will definitely be back.
Good restaurant and staff members first time visit here from brisbane
very good food
Thanks
We had a terrific dine-in experience at The Curry Hut. Great tasting variety of meals coupled with very efficient service. I'm certainly going to be a return customer. Very nice.
The food was incredible and the staff was extremely friendly. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had.
Worst restaurant seen in my life customer service is poor and if you call in store background party music is goin on and cancel my piad delivery because thye are close to their closing time at 9 pm,
and like uh said that it happens only wen uh ordered first time so have a look how many times i have ordered it.so please be genuine with your coustmers
thanks
Best Indian I’ve had in Perth. Hidden gem. Always so flavoursome and fresh. Favourite place to go for Indian:)
This is a very busily running Indian restaurant and I think everyone in this area loves the food there.
Eat in or take away. Ive had Indian nosh from here several times and every time the food has been very tasty. Theres a good selection for both vegetarians and carnivores. For the people eating in, theres also a bar so alcohol can be served with your meal.
Went here with my family just over a week ago. Definitely gone down hill since the first time I went. There was no music, the cutlery on the table was dirty and had oil on them, the glasses has bits of dried food on them and there were bits of food floating in the 'fresh' water. There was one poor girl running around managing the whole restaurant on her own, and she asked if someone could come from out the back to give a beer to our table as shes underage.it took over an hour of nothing before we eventually got up and left. Very disappointing.
This is one of the worst service I have ever seen. No food delivery even after 2 hours from the ordered time. But customer service keep telling us the delivery is on the way which is misleading customers. Everyone is telling different reasons for delay. When I visited then noticed the order has also not been started prepare. This is the 4th time we experienced delay of receiving foods.
Should not order via phone or menu log. Not relaible. Food is good anyway. Poor administration
Food was decent. The Lamb Phaal was not overly hot, despite the "extra extra hot" rating on the menu, and the waitress advising that it was "like dragons breath".
Our first outing to The Curry Hut this evening - and confused by the experience. Friendly, welcoming service - food that was tantalisingly delicious - but completely lacking in coordination ex the kitchen. One dish arrived on the table with Naan Bread, both servings went stone cold as our next dishes were served to another table in error. Finally all dishes plus condiments arrived, only to also go cold while we waited for the Rice (the only item on the table that was genuinely hot for the consumption of the meal). Without doubt, some of the tastiest Indian cuisine I've ever eaten - no doubt even more enjoyable had it been served directly from kitchen to table. I'm torn. I'd like to try a meal again, but if I have to pay full price for food that's tepid - I may become incensed. Despite informing the friendly wait staff of the issue (and her genuine apology) there was no acknowledgement from the Owner who was at the counter when we paid the Bill. The jury is still out.
